@benjedwards As a Commodore user, I used Quantum Link from late 1985 until it was shut down to make way for it's younger, bigger brother AOL. At the time It was a natural progression. Quantum Link doesn't count as Internet accessability AFAIK, but I do want to justify ever using AOL :)

@benjedwards First used internet on my Dad’s Zenith blue and white screen laptop. Prodigy was the service we used. Later we got a desktop PC and switched to AOL.

Why yes, that email I made in the 90s does fill me with regret but I am still going to use it to get 10% by subscribing to the mailing list I never intend to read. Yes you are correct, IT IS AOL
