ETH L1 is DARPANet ETH L2's are BBS's ETH's AOL and WWW haven't even been invented yet. Sometimes it's frustrating when the L1 tubes are clogged and the prices are too damn high, but remember that we're early and the best is yet to come.

I tried to explain Slack to a Gen Z college student by comparing it to AOL instant messenger and wow I have never felt so old. (They had no idea what AIM was, and really I did this to myself.)
