  • mj_symonds Max the prettyboy (@mj_symonds) reported from Bristol, England

I pay license fee pretty much entirely because of how good BBC Four is. It is one of the best channels on television (or at least on Freeview, I can't speak for paid) so to axe it would be a terrible shame. #LoveBBCFour please Auntie Been don't kill your best child.

@cleanfeed_ttvr I hope that ITV West Country HD is a priority. 🤞 Freeview 103 currently shows Central West, right down to Penzance. Even if it was just the "HTV" variant carried pan-regionally, that would at least be "less wrong" for Devon & Cornwall than news about Brum, Stoke-on-Trent etc.

Watching #TheThing (1982) on the Horror channel (Freeview 68). No matter how many dozens of times I watch this movie, the stupid arrogant American scientists never seem to learn to just kill the dog in the first place. You would have thought they might have learnt by now.

  • JStewart_15 Josh Stewart (@JStewart_15) reported

@Katht2711 Have you got an aerial plugged in? I do as when broadband goes down freeview will still work

  • antnorwe Anthony Norwood (@antnorwe) reported

@FreeviewAdvice Hi Lisa. I definitely have a TCL television however when I go to use Freeview Play or one of the Freeview Play apps I'm prompted to accept terms and conditions that never appear. How can I check if my specific TV should have Freeview Play working.

  • ChewieD2 Graeme Hanks (@ChewieD2) reported

@tstrachanedit I used to watch it every weekend when it was on freeview but could never justify the spend when it went behind a paywall. Couldn’t beat having a lazy Saturday with endless cuppa’s and just tv. Good times!

  • stephenfarrow Stephen Farrow 🇪🇺 (@stephenfarrow) reported

@wtb6chiny @rbripley The last time I saw it was a few months ago, on one of the more downmarket movie channels on freeview. They had the magnificent bad taste to cut to a commercial break *right* in the middle of the earthquake.

  • ChrissiBranson1 Chrissi Branson (@ChrissiBranson1) reported

@AndyWilsonFS @MoneySavingExp Not all of them are essentials and what the OP might pay out for the flat. TV package is not essential that is what freeview is for. Service charges are not always paid for on flats as that normally covers areas of shared ownership eg hallways grass etc.

  • pidgpie Chris,,,, (@pidgpie) reported

@SkySportsNews all the best Jeff not the show it was, the recent format is dull and sky removing it off freeview was a epic fail

  • Kirk42154958 Kirko73 (@Kirk42154958) reported

@steeleyp_ @SkyUK Ah right, got you. 👍 What happens if there were to be an internet blackout? Would I continue to get Sky through the backup Freeview tuner?

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

@geofflath @alexbloor UK: freeview via Satellite.. same as freeview via aerial, sometimes more reliable signal.

  • B_Neash Becca Neash (@B_Neash) reported

Freeview TV is ****, no wonder nobody pays their TV licence
