Dear @Channel4 please can you add live streaming to your 4OD service. My Freeview signal is shocking and I'm missing Bake off and this is very distressing

@JamesCridland @EFTM No mate, because you're the only one on the planet who cares:))) sorry... cross carry of EPG was an issue when i was at SBS - industry doesn't care, put too much effort into Freeview+ instead of the basic EPG - I hear ya... but, I'd be sticking with fetch:)

  • Psythor James O'Malley (@Psythor) reported

@JamesCridland I’ve just got a HDHomeRun box that has two Freeview tuners in, and makes the channels available as IPTV on your local network. Then the app Channels (which is available for basically everything) is used to view, and downloads the EPG from the web, and it works great.

  • JaseHeeley Jase Heeley (@JaseHeeley) reported

@BuddClair As of this point, it looks as though there's no way we'll ever subscribe to a paid T.V. service like Sky or Virgin ever again. I'm happy to pay the licence fee as it stands, but Freeview's more than adequate, alongside Netflix and Spamazon.

  • MisterBelly2u David Bell 🐝 🇾🇪🏍️🔭🏌️‍♂️💙 (@MisterBelly2u) reported

@XSManchester Attempted to fix a Freeview aerial in the loft some years ago. Starting sneezing with all the dust, slipped off the joists and came crashing thru the spare bedroom ceiling. Straight out of a comedy film .... Carry On Belly. 🙄

  • Adjie16077 Claire Menzies (@Adjie16077) reported

Next year I’m going to refuse to pay my TV licence until the government do something about our TV & the BBC as a corporation not as channels because they’re just as bad. I am fed up with watching the same program is repeated on different channels through Freeview & no subtitles

  • BeccaH88 Becca (@BeccaH88) reported

@FreeviewAdvice hi Freeview, wondering if you can help. Just moved into a new build and your postcode checker says we won't get Freeview - not sure if this is true or just because we have a new postcode? Don't want to waste money on an aerial if we can't get it!

  • ross_actual Ross (@ross_actual) reported

Movie Pick of the Day (UK Freeview) Nightbreed (1990) Dir. Clive Barker Horror Channel - 22:55 I despised Nightbreed when it was released, but only because of how much of an utter **** Craig Sheffer was in Some Kind of Wonderful, three years previous. I hold grudges.

  • Page_888 Matthew H (@Page_888) reported

@alan_jones They filled hours with Sky Travel Shop. Their main competitor on Freeview was TV Travel Shop. Of course, it was called DTT back then as Freeview only launched in the October. So many new channels arrived, although signal wasn't great.
