@ExmoorOn Never thought to ask to be honest. Luckily I can get Radio Northampton on Freeview so at least I can listen in.

  • dngakuru Dell (@dngakuru) reported

@its_milaB @Suzyiam I can recommend this. Got rid of vodafone tv and replaced it with Smart VU. Connects via wifi to your network, simple to set up and simple to use. Retails for less than $120. Has all the streaming apps and a great freeview app.

  • CamillaWest Camilla West (@CamillaWest) reported

@BootstrapCook I did this for my mum after she had a falling out with all the cable/phone companies. Had to get a booster areal but got all the freeview channels and just went weird and pixelated in very bad weather!

  • RobertPhilpot Robert Philpot (@RobertPhilpot) reported

If betting on the #WorldSnookerChampionship be aware that Freeview is several seconds faster than satellite with on line in a poor third place. Best place to bet the foyer of The Crucible or even in the auditorium! #snooker

@Suzyiam If you have a modern-ish ‘Freeview’ aerial on your roof then you can get NZ’s free to air Freeview service. 26 TV channels and 2 radio stations (other parts of NZ it may vary, that’s here in Kāpiti). I have a 6yr old TV which gets Freeview fine, plus I use Netflix & Disney apps

@virginmedia is there a way to negotiate a new contract without being on the phone for 2 hours+? Raising my bill from £45 to £66 automatically when the contract ends is absolutely disgusting for what I receive. Internet that goes down and paying for the same channels as freeview?

  • David67016669 David and the random numbers (@David67016669) reported

@BootstrapCook I have a traditional aerial in the loft which runs down to a socket in the lounge, which works for Freeview. Upstairs I have an electrical aerial amplifier for the same.

@BBlues70 Never had it, it's bad enough paying any company to watch TV..I'm going back to Freeview..

@theipaper we had to pay for cable to watch bbc etc as not in a freeview signal area..so paid double. got fed up with them being tory mouthpiece and platform for farage etc. Then we kept the licence just to watch PMQs between torys n corbyns labour as we stopped our cable tv. After the
