One bad thing about #Freeview TV is all the begging adverts. Ignore em all, ain't contributing towards inflated staff salaries. Plenty of local little charities.

@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

@FactsStomp @cleanfeed_ttvr Depends when they updated the EPG. Sky updates within minutes. Freeview and Freesat can take a hour or two. Virgin doesn't support dynamic updates so only updates if it days ahead

@cleanfeed_ttvr @Ofcom I genuinely don't understand why Freeview seems to be resolutely stuck with DVBT1. Surely at this point the vast majority of STBs and TVs support DVBT2? We just need 1 mux with channels 1-5 & filler for SD only sets & finally let Freeview have a half decent picture quality again

@AvonandsomerRob Never took the Sky pill. Told them I didn’t want to fund the Murdoch revolution! When Freeview came along there were enough channels and now predominantly use catch up and YouTube. Just need to tell the BBC to FO now!

Tonight and tomorrow's warning of freezing fog across parts of England a reminder that in some areas, those weather conditions could cause terrestrial (Freeview) TV and FM/DAB radio interference. Do not adjust your set, or retune if your signal glitches this weekend!

@Petwill1 It really is time Gold And Alibi were made Freeview channels I can't afford Sky or Virgin TV. I refuse to sign up to a streaming service. Most of the stuff on Gold has been played to death.
