  • Oliver_Wok wok (@Oliver_Wok) reported from Hartlepool, England

@edgarwright @broccantyzack @itv2 Would make for a brilliant friday/saturday/sunday triple header. Would love to break it down into how many times a year they appear on freeview TV

  • GerryCarpenter3 Gerry Carpenter (@GerryCarpenter3) reported from Sunderland, England

@Claire_Pickard @sueashton3000 Many residents in Sunderland & along the Durham Coast also receive Freeview Channels from the Bilsdale transmitter. The fire is also likely to have knocked out about 30 relay stations, which "feed" on signals from Bilsdale. I wouldn't like to climb up the transmitter to fix it!

  • mwoodwriting Matthew Paul Wood (@mwoodwriting) reported from Redcar, England

There's an important point to be made about internet freedom and search algorithms but I can't be bothered all that so... The internet is like Freeview now. "Do you want this crap thing you didn't ask for on CNN 1, CNN 2, or CNN extra?" 😾

@zsk Just thinking, unless you have no Freeview or Freesat signal, why would you want to watch live TV via ITV Hub.

  • BrexitFoxy The People's Foxy 🦊 (@BrexitFoxy) reported

@CraggsLewis @tvlicensing @tvlicensingnews If it's the live stream, as it's also a Freeview broadcast channel then yeah you need a TV licence. If you're just watching catch-up on-demand clips, then you don't need one. The law is stupid, but that's the way it is at the moment.

  • BlazeHome Rich (@BlazeHome) reported

Doesn't really matter as both are live on Freeview but I can't help thinking Austria Vs Ukraine should be the ITV1 game rather than Netherlands Vs North Macedonia as that actually has something riding on it. #Euro2020

  • mjCurnow Martin Curnow (@mjCurnow) reported

Dad hasn’t been able to watch @GBNEWS. Can’t watch on freeview as their TV signal is poor so they watch everything through Sky. And it’s GB News HD & screen message is to ring to upgrade. I did tell him the picture quality has been pretty dire & an embarrassment to HD TV.

  • colin_gull Colin (@colin_gull) reported

Thank goodness for Freeview as @virgin media down in my area for up to 6 hours. They've gone strangely quiet on Twitter with their self congratulatory messages

  • TheScottishTra1 The Scottish Traveller (@TheScottishTra1) reported

So here's a thing, would the argument, Freeview is advertised as free and never mentions the required TV Licence stand up in a Court? Afterall, it's out there enforcing the false statement, "It's FREE" #DefundTheBBC

  • FreeviewAdvice Freeview Advice (@FreeviewAdvice) reported

@PaddyTaylor @itvhub Hi Paddy, So sorry you are still experiencing issues with your Freeview reception. Please start a DM to allow us to look into this further for you. Do you require the full frequencies for manual tuning? Kind Regards Melissa

  • Mizzach Stu Ford 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@Mizzach) reported

@Wilson34David Any solution for freeview? It picks up my Glasgow area automatically.

  • ronsmonkeys Ronny Dean-Stanton (@ronsmonkeys) reported

Hi!i!i!i! Does anyone have an old #freesat box they’re not using? I can’t afford to pay #VirginMedia for what is effectively a freeview tv package. (Has to be free-SAT as my aerial is too old a crap for free-VIEW). Thank you.
