Hadn't realised rural Freeview was still so terrible compared to in metropolitan areas. I get 80 Freeview channels in Dudley nr Birmingham, Dad gets 21 in South Shropshire! And doesn't even get Sky News which I assumed was on Freeview everywhere.

First the removal of BBC Radio access via voice control on Sonos speakers; now the removal of @BBCNews HD from Freeview. @BBC not doing much to help its cause with the licence fee debate.

@FreeviewAdvice I've sent in a complaint. They'll probably say that's freeview's decision.

@frankyjazzie Why do you want us to sign that I have just lost my Freeview signal on my TVfor 5G so if it’s good enough for TV it’s good enough for my mobile phone without any ill effects !!!

@TJCSHOPPING I've watched TJC on freeview quite a few times and it's very mundane. Much more interesting is reading the consistently dreadful reviews customers leave. Damaged, inferior and missing goods, appalling customer service and so on ... Best avoided. #TJCSHOPPING

@virginmedia I hope they'll be replying to me on WhatsApp today. I've cancelled my DD and ordered a new broadband service and Freeview recorder. Enough is enough!

@anee1a Probably 50% of the foreign films I've seen I saw for the first time on Film4, a Freeview channel lol As long as you're able to read subtitles easily, it shouldn't be a problem. I'm certainly not "cultured", I've just never been put off by subtitles.

Anyone here who lives in London, who watches, or at least, can watch Freeview TV (terrestrial, rather than satellite/streamed TV), can you check whether it's working? I'm not home, so can't check. Wondering if there is a Crystal Palace transmitter problem. Thanks
