@virginmedia plz stop calling me asking if I want an upgrade. Been a loyal customer for over 15 yrs and its getting annoying now. Yes my phone is due for an upgrade but only when I want it. So plz when you say Im on the 'has been contacted list' stick with that 😞

  • a3racer Chris C (@a3racer) reported from Wokingham, England

@virginmedia is there a fix time for the Virgin TV issue in the GU21 area? It’s been down now for over 24 hours! Will my account be credited with money that I have paid for no service?

  • ce141974 Caryn Sinclair (@ce141974) reported from Maidenhead, England

@virginmedia your customer service is beyond bad!! When making a complaint because I have no internet your representative desires to shout over me! I’ve been waiting 3 days!! Shocking!!!

  • PhilStace20 Phil Stacey (@PhilStace20) reported from Maidenhead, England

@virginmedia It about moving house. As Virgin is unavailable at the new residence and the move is only temporary I was told in two separate calls that I could ‘freeze’ my account and now it’s come to it it seems that I have to keep paying whilst not receiving any service or buy myself out!

  • Tom38971529 Tom (@Tom38971529) reported from Wokingham, England

@virginmedia Well I would speak to a member of the team but always get the call cut short and I ask for a call back if the line goes dead. Twice yesterday ot happend Nd never got a phone call back

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia Thanks. Engineer showed up, plugged in a new Hub 3, “fixed” my BB & WiFi and, 3 hours later, it’s still not working. Can I 1) file a complaint and 2) get a guarantee that this will be fixed for once and for all.

  • PhilStace20 Phil Stacey (@PhilStace20) reported from Maidenhead, England

@virginmedia It’s more about how this can’t be dealt with online and spending a busy day trying to get to talk with someone who actually can help. #Disgraceful #expectedthis

  • tashaj1984 Natasha Gorrie (@tashaj1984) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia I have posted but not sure how a forum post will help. Can you advise of your official escalation complaint process

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia Yep. Wired isn’t working either. I have no broadband, no WiFi, no service. Been like this since Saturday and intermittent since Jan/Feb.

  • woodyturts Alex Turton (@woodyturts) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia hey, it’s been slow going on broadband in GU14 since Tuesday.

  • PhilStace20 Phil Stacey (@PhilStace20) reported from Maidenhead, England

@denman79 @virginmedia The irony is that @virginmedia are more like the Pistols -‘No point in asking you’ll get no reply’ and they seem ‘Pretty Vacant’ but ‘Never mind all that…..’ can someone please take some responsibility and ownership that seems to be sadly lacking atm

  • LiveArtLondon Christine (@LiveArtLondon) reported from Eton Wick, England

TERRIBLE timing @virginmedia! No internet and down till tomorrow!!!?!?!?!?!

  • AndyBarr79 Andy Barr 🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@AndyBarr79) reported from Reading, England

@virginmedia I can't sign in as I no longer hold an account, your CS don't care and obviously fobbing me off and not raising complaints as requested, I will just pursue via FCA and/or trading standards.

  • PhilStace20 Phil Stacey (@PhilStace20) reported from Maidenhead, England

Hey @virginmedia I forgot how awful you were when it came to anything other than collecting my direct debit. Apparently you don’t have a complaints dept, genius, and after 4 calls to you today totally around three hours, you cut two of them off during the musical interlude!

  • pmross Paul Mackenzie Ross (@pmross) reported from Farnborough, England

@virginmedia Thanks. Done that. Multiple times. And over the last 6 months. And when I was an ntl: customer. And CableTel before that. 27 years of 56k > 350Mb and now it’s totally doing my head in. Unable to work from home properly. Boss won’t be happy!

  • MikeBiscoe1 Mike Biscoe (@MikeBiscoe1) reported from Reading, England

@virginmedia *sigh*. Been directed to this many times. Had engineers referred many times. This is a persistent issue that raises its ugly head far too frequently

  • AndyBarr79 Andy Barr 🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@AndyBarr79) reported from Reading, England

@virginmedia Hi see first tweet in chain, I have been waiting on CS whom I called and raised a call back complaint request with before I tweeted my frustration

  • mkn1ght Ultra Mugnus (@mkn1ght) reported from Reading, England

    @monstroso @virginmedia A problem we all have.

  • PhilStace20 Phil Stacey (@PhilStace20) reported from Maidenhead, England

@virginmedia Thanks I’m currently doing this now. So on the ‘phone once again for around an hour and been passed over and back and STILL no outcome a d still holding. Just waiting for the line to go dead as previous. When does a customer give up and just leave this shower for good?!?!?! 🤬🤬

@virginmedia why is my tv not working? Just getting the ‘virgin media logo’ and nothing else?

  • Metalmalc Mëtälmälc 🇪🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@Metalmalc) reported

@JamieGiberti @virginmedia I called them in December to reduce our package and the cost. They increased our b/band speed and added Sky Cinema; somehow bringing the cost down. Watch that brief saving ******* evaporate.

  • MarkDavidPearce Mark David Pearce (@MarkDavidPearce) reported

Is it possible to imagine how the @virginmedia customer experience could be worse? Telephone help lines that don't, and when you do speak to someone they ignore what you have said. Utterly hopeless.

  • NEXTSAF Fergie’s Assistant (@NEXTSAF) reported

@virginmedia I booked a appointment for a technician to come to my house but cancelled as I thought the connection has been fixed but it’s still showing as not working n it’s telling me to wait 12 hours to book a technician. Been like this for a week. Can I book a technician now so I can work

  • mattmillswrites Matt Mills (@mattmillswrites) reported

@JamieGiberti @virginmedia Just got a very similar message from O2. "We know you just got a new phone contract two months ago but **** you we're charging you 13% more and it's so early in said contract that we are going to demand hundreds if you want to get out of it."

  • danielwilks10 DW10 (@danielwilks10) reported

@MartinSLewis renewed a new 18month braodband contract with Virgin on the 10th Jan on condition (yes over phone) i would not have any price rises within that time yet today i get an email saying my broadband going up by £7 a month, do i have any rights to cancel? @virginmedia

  • PorticoToffee Stephen Ross (@PorticoToffee) reported

Email from @virginmedia say they are raising the price of my package by £252 this year. How the hell can you justify a price increase of over 23% 🤷 Im using the right to cancel my package due to the increase, because you are also removing this right as from 2024. Shocking
