@virginmedia hi, do you have an email address? Calling doesn’t work, message doesn’t work fast enough (waiting for hours), submit online - done but no confirmation. I have no idea if you’ve received it or not. I just want to complain, cancel and move house.

@virginmedia please please please can someone please contact me. All I want to do is make a formal complaint on service speeds and leave VIrginmedia. I have had online chats that ended with a link to another chat it and phone numbers that end in a link to a chatbot. So angry

@virginmedia So, this mistake has been resolved very quickly by someone via virgin app this morning. Credit where credit is due. They apologised, applied a rolling credit to the account to cover the monthly cost, and refunded the postage and installation charges. Let's hope this fix works

@virginmedia Update. I have now spoken to a terribly nice gentleman by the name of Ely. I understand from my call that I am sorted and I’m now a happy customer again. Thank you Ely.

@virginmedia it seems that your cancellation dept call centre is closed due to the virus, I’ve tried to cancel my account & tried to message you online but neither appear to be possible, I’m just going round in circles. I haven’t renewed my contract or take you with me. Help

So unbelievably fed up of @virginmedia broadband that constantly drops out. I pay almost £100 a month for packages that are just useless if the connection goes down. Can't work from home or teach remotely under these conditions.

@virginmedia Internet down again in NN5. There is no issue with the equipment or set up. What is the issue locally? Goes down about 8-10 times for 30 mins or so every day. Please can you respond ASAP.

@RogerProtzBeer @virginmedia This is totally unacceptable. When resolved ask for compensation for loss of service, inconvenience & your time. Keep records. Raise an official complaint following their process. If unhappy with their response complain to CISA, their ombudsman. Consider switching. Good luck!

@virginmedia On your website the only way to verify if those details are correct is by “contacting our Customer Care team”, which is hours of waiting and often only to get cut off before I talk to someone. You guys are literally unbelievable.

@mcintyrejack @iRacing @virginmedia Haven’t tried a router, with all the convo with VM about this potentially being fixed soon and me not wanting to blow money on one. Plus the issue seems to come and go so I’m not sure if it would be a constant issue with a router or not.

@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.

@virginmedia Is that really important and negates your obligation too clean it up? And is that really down too an innocent member of the public too find that out?

@virginmedia Rather than an apology, how about a warning text or email stating when my broadband will be down or interrupted? So I can plan ahead, not waste mine and others time and money, and feel like I’m a customer and not a complete idiot for paying for this? I’m finally back online.

@virginmedia Hands down, I can say I have never experienced anything like your customer service, gaslighting, infuriating service, sends you round in circles, claim they don't hang up on you but definitely do after up to an hour waiting to speak to someone. The single worst brand out there.

@virginmedia I have been told numerous times there is a local outage. Regardless of what the "fault" is there is clearly issues with your customer service. Now your suggesting I go on a forum to get help, if speaking to your company for hours on end doesn't help what good is a forum?

@virginmedia Thank you for this offer, unfortunately tomorrow I have commitments and just to be clear, we don't live in proximity to the customer, he is 150 miles away so we can't do any checks, can I clarify you are talking about sorting an upgrade? Thursday would be better if so.

@RaymondSnoddy @virginmedia I’ve taken them to CIFAS (the ombudsman) and even that has no bearing. It’s @Ofcom’s fault. Regulate competition believing it always benefits the customer, when all it really does is lead to cheap rubbish. You cannot keep making things cheaper without making them worse.
