The @virginmedia service I get is unreliable and over priced. I guess it’s a matter of switching, as when I call their Help Service the well-meaning scripted responses frustrate me.

@nickopotamus @virginmedia Super rude and passive aggressive when I finally got fed up with the same thing (being charged double what a new customer was charged) and decided to switch. Claimed they “could not” end my out of contract plan without telling them my reasons.

@macchiatogirl @virginmedia The computer offered me a 7% discount for 6/12, and the first real person 19%, but the “retention team” (the “cut my contract” dept) wrangled a better deal essentially by adding a SIM card which bought it down to the new subscriber price. Very strange business practice.

@virginmedia It just says we haven’t reached your home yet. But if I try all the roads literally next to me it works and says it’s available for them. Engineers came and installed the cables around 2 years ago and we have letter proving that but for some reason we can’t get the service!
