    @TweetingTont I worked for a cable TV company, long before Virgin Media swallowed them all up. One role was MD Complaints. My remit was to make the customer happy and make sure they didn't leave.

    @virginmedia So box won't work, technician will call find line down across a road, will need a cable crew to reinstate, so telly back sometime next week?

    @virginmedia My sister eventually got through, a new boxis being sent out and if that doesn't work a technician is coming Saturday. Personally, I don't think new box will do it.. A cable appears to be down in next street!

    @virginmedia Yes, and end up on hold , I don't work from home so have a very limited timeframe after work to contact you. It shouldn't be this hard to cancel or at least arrange a call back .

    @Laica23 @virginmedia Can’t say I blame you, good luck in trying to cancel your account. You have to go through retention team who never answer. IF only IF you get through to Customer Services they say can’t do it and you need go through to another department, only to be on hold before it rings off

    @virginmedia my phone line is down I can’t contact via 150, spent 60 mins on 0345 number to try and speak to someone. I get transferred to the department and the person puts the phone down on me. Really fantastic service, I love to be charged by a premium number to hanged up on.

    @virginmedia day 5 of trying to cancel. Online chat is laughable was in a chat waiting for a reply for 9 hours yesterday,nothing ,now gone back to the start. 150 no1 answers. Covid is not an excuse when all your customers service people can WFH. CANCEL MY BROADBAND NOW!!!!
