@paulw56 @TheMurkyDepths it’s mainly the Waze app - no one local would come this route because of the known traffic light at the bottom of Vanburgh hill issue ( it is quite rightly set to allow just 2 or 3 vehicles through every couple of minutes). a queue even when Traffic on Trafalgar flowing freely

@Far_fromNormal1 @POTUS Heard a cop one time say he thought the Waze app alerting people of police so they would slow down was something he actually liked because regardless of how it’s done the desired behavior being achieved is ultimately what matters. This is no different.

@NicoIsHereDude @verge I have a safety issue with Apple Maps. Google Maps & Waze (Google) both store a map offline as you drive. This is useful for me in WA state driving into mountains where I lose data access. Apple Maps will get me to a destination but deletes the map as soon as I arrive.

Enjoying the voice of @BoyGeorge on @waze but running into a low-volume issue with the Android app. One "fix" that seems to work is making a phone call, enable the speaker, and then set its volume to max...THEN, Waze's volume seems to be at normal levels. So odd.

Waze Maps has a few map errors around Clifton in Nottingham. Caister Road is wrongly called Caistor Road, a part of Granton Avenue is incorrectly called Grantown Avenue and Fairmaid Grove is called Faimaid Grove and Locksley Lane is incorrectly called Loxley Lane.
