@panther_dragon No, it literally doesn't have to be an Apple device. I streamed to a Roku device and watched it. Firesticks work too. So do most compatible smart TV's. Apple doesn't allow AppleTV to stream on Android via an app though, because Apple are a bunch of *******.

Every single time a family member has issues with their smart TV, I get them a Roku streaming stick, set it up, and turn off all the TV’s “smart” features. After that, I never get any more TV tech support questions!

@hulu_support Happens on all devices (ipad, android tv, web, roku). The only way to clear the show from the row is to remove it entirely from the Watch History, which is an issue for currently running shows.

@twixprintmatic It looks like the Ustream live stream is offline…so that’s a stream issue, not a Roku app issue. Someone (perhaps @4theburke?) should be able to restart that stream in the morning.

Every single time a family member has issues with their smart TV, I get them a Roku streaming stick and turn off all the TV’s own software. After that, everything just works ™.

@ROKU If you're going to take over our live TV, stop making it into a pile of crap experience! Your setup doesn't WORK. Have to keep filtering for favorites. Can't get it to change channels! Many times, no channel guide at all! FIX THIS.

@thatKomputerKat @Roku @plex Completely agree with all your points. I go out of my way now to load my plex server with 4:3 content just to serve my Roku+. the worst offender is YouTube, because for some reason even if the video is 4:3 it still puts black bars on the side.

@Keith_McPherson Agreed. In regards to appletv. Typically I do housework while I have the game on my phone. There is no appletv app for android phones. I can't stream through a browser a my phone, but the quality is crappy. Now, THAT BEING SAID.. on my Roku TV, the video quality is incredible!

@Roku so 2-3 days ago older roku made me sign in to YouTube. Never has happened. But despite bringing up current utube acct it shows 5 subscribe instead of 57. Almost all recommendations I’ve seen. No matter how many times I pass video it never changes

@Ourand_SBJ I bought a Roku for Apple+ & Peacock. Started my 3 month A+ trial tonight for the Yankee game. Looks great without a single issue. Not sure how delayed it is from a true radio call. It’s 5-6 pitches AHEAD of my Sirius app.
