@nihil_ad_rem Roku, firestick etc is the worst. You spend all your time searching for something decent to watch. If you do finally find something, you have to subscribe, buy, or rent. Just stick with satellite.

@jeffcoffman As long as you’re not trying to watch on your android phone or tablet, you’ll be fine. Roku, android tv, and Fire TV all work for Apple TV, same with Xbox, PlayStation or even a pc. The no android phone thing is annoying though.

Never buying a cheap tv. Never again. @ElementTVs worst tv I’ve ever had in my life. Turns off randomly. Remote with new batteries doesn’t work unless you’re inches away. Roku apps don’t work.

@Nolbertos @ManuelVeth 1) its AppleTV+ … not AppleTV. Its an app like any other. So…. You sure???? Is your parents TV incompatible with hulu, YTTV, Sling, Disney+, etc??? 2) even if that is the case…. Itll work fine with Chromecast, or firestick, or Roku, or gaming system

@mayewj9 @Nolbertos @ManuelVeth I'm not down with his overall argument, but AppleTV doesn't work for certain Roku Smart TVs. I know cause I have one that isn't compatible :). Hulu, Disney, etc. do work though. From what I can tell its just Apple that isn't configurable with it.

Resisted AppleTV until T-Mobile offered a free year. FireTV I have (non-stick) didn’t support it though so looks like back to Roku ecosystem I go. Streaming wars are so annoying. Almost time to resubscribe to Paramount+ for my once yearly Big Brother fix

@RokuSupport Hello. The app crashes and exits to Roku home screen and there is a serious lag while trying to navigate through it. I update it daily to see if that's the problem and it just does the same thing.

So I guess Xfinity is having an outage? I was just about to figure out how to reboot the router. My phone seems to connect sporadically. Mom is annoyed as this means no Roku.

@KasperStats The only issue I had was early in the season on Roku it always started each stream from the beginning of the game. But they finally got that fixed. No issues since.

@YouTubeTV So uh. It's been a week. Still no new interface on my 2.3k OLED TV or 5.1. You CC with Google TV only has new interface. What's the explanation? My Roku kinda has both. Stop worrying about the NBA trophy logo on the dial and just make it work already!
