Today, I switched to @signalapp from @WhatsApp because of the coercive new terms of service by whatsApp. I chose signal over telegram because it is free as well as opensource, developed following gold standards with no commercial ambitions.

So interesting feature with @signalapp AFAIK it doesnt fully sync between the desktop and mobile. "Signal Desktop acts as its own standalone device and sends/receives messages on its own, directly connected to the service, without using your phone as a proxy."

@freenando75 @signalapp Why? Log in with your tablet and the phone number of your Nokia. Then connect your tablet to your Linux system. At least the first one should work without problems.

Hey @signalapp Using a Xiaomi phone, The voice notes are processed with an annoying effect. It doesn't happen with any other app but just signal. Already sent you an email with an audio sample but haven't got any response or fix yet #Signal

I am getting multiple echoes in audio, while making audio video or group audio/video calls on @signalapp the audio echoes multiple times and reverbes. This continues with 'relay calls' switched on or off. What could be done to fix the echo in audio? @elonmusk @brianacton

@krishnatre_sid @signalapp Are you on iOS and your friend is on Android? I ask because I believe with Android you can block screenshots...but on iOS, that feature is not available. I could be wrong...but maybe that might be the issue.

@moxie and @signalapp - Regularly when making calls from the Signal app, the receiving side does not ring, despite all their notifications being set up properly. Is this a looming problem from your growth spurt?

I just received an email from @signalapp service support team regarding my concerns with not receiving the OTP to activate my account. They seem really dedicated to provide us new members with their service and expand their servers. Hope to get connected ASAP with #signal.

@moxie @signalapp Signal currently allows you to find contacts in your phone but there's a problem in that for me - I don't have the phone numbers of some friends that I haven't been in contact in awhile and It would be really great if you gave all users usernames and allowed..

@yashalevine @torproject @signalapp This is FUD. Tor uses many layers of and protocols ensuring one node cannot know where the info came from. Singal is e2e encrypted. No vital info is stored in servers. Meta data analysis for both is viable and happens. This is an intrinsic problem of IP protocol

@signalapp We did as you said, but we still have issues. Some messages are not coming through. Tried it with three friends: Person X -> Y WORKING Person Y -> X NOT WORKING Person Z -> X WORKING Person X -> Z WORKING Person Z -> Y NOT WORKING The behave is wierd. We reset secure x-times.

@signalapp it doesnt seem like messages are syncing between my phone and the desktop app. messages on my phone show up on the desktop, but messages i type on the desktop do NOT show up on my phone. i've tried to re-link the desktop but that doesn't help.
