Anyone seeing a problem with @signalapp being force overridden by Pixel phones? Friend of mine keeps resetting it to default but the phone keeps removing the setting and routing to the LG app. First time I've seen this.

@LunchBoxCan @KoalaAngsty @signalapp Don’t. Use matrix it does a much better job. Even then signal needing a phone number is not an issue. It’s designed so you can give people your number. Everything in it is encrypted and they don’t even know which phone numbers are tied to which account.

@VAT2020USA @GeorgeTakei @signalapp The whole point of the Jan 6th committee is to see if they “planned or help plan the insurrection”. Nothing of that has come to light. Only text talking about how they can do audits of the states they believed had fraud. So...... what is the committee really for?

hey @signalapp are there any problems with video calls at the moment? As soon as I make a video call to a person with the desktop client, the picture is so bad that I can't see anything. Internetconnection is good. Can you help me with it?

Hey @signalapp, been using the app for few months now but I keep struggling with notifications coming in late, calls are ringing on the caller side but never reaching the called end. This occurs with different phone models and connections. Any expected improvements down the line?

@thomasdcameron @signalapp I think it has to do with his account may be “cached” in your app or their system. I had an issue with that once. Unfortunately I can’t recall the exact solution.

@CHBernasconiC @signalapp Well, was thinking as a potential internal message service. Think like teams, but not hosted by MS. I'm not sure what signal is being used for though, from your answer I'm guessing it's more like "what's app" than slack-ish?

@signalapp 4/12 @signalapp "This version ... bug fixes to keep Signal running smoothly." But now every time I start Signal, it has forgotten the previous window placement & size. 4K screen. 9/12 New vsn. Not fixed. 15/12 New vsn. Not fixed. Can you fix this please @signalapp?

@signalapp Signal servers having issues? The last 24 hours, when I send a message, I don't get the delivery notice for more than an hour. I have Signal running on my 2019 MBP (Mac OS 12.0.1), iPhone (iOS 15.1) and iPad (iPad 15.1). Issue may be with only 1 recipient's account.

@hathik_ihthizam @signalapp The existence of the last seen feature is a WhatsApp glitch in the messaging app. And I trust Signal won't make that mistake. It undermines the user's privacy from that sense of privacy.
