ChatGPT et al can fix grammar of any phishing message if scammers just bothered to do that. Currently bad grammar works as a filter to continue phishing attack with the most gullible victims only.

Updated logs, and have newest software but there system does not let me talk to a real person

When the SIM binding rules in India were made mandatory (now extended till December this year), was there any blog post? Zilch. Nada. Was there any mention from your end too? Zilch. Nada. Nyet. Realistically speaking- will it make an impact beyond "moralistic statements"? Important to note: All governments will want a bit of a control. Name calling (by a person of your stature) won't help.

Beginning to wonder if there isn't something more substantially sinister going on. What is being hidden and why? If its bug - say and give a fix it timeline. If it's soft censorship, say so (aka the Gov leaned on you). Otherwise it's beginning to sound suspicious.

I can't just randomly tell everyone to go into signal or anything, that's usually the main issue, not whether *I* can switch. I can. My network doesn't switch🫠.

calle (@callebtc) reportedPSA: purchased a phone number for @signalapp registration at @smspoolnet but the number got re-sold to a scammer else after 3 months. that person took over the signal account. super dangerous. terrible service guarantee by smspool and dangerous auth practice by signal . basically sim swapping without the social engineering. not your phone network, not your number (you can't own a mobile number).

I paid for several phone numbers and at some point decided "I don't want to keep paying for a new phone number every time I want to sign up for a service." If they really care about your privacy maybe start by not asking us to dox ourselves in the first place

Mpost Media Group (@mpost_io) reported✅ @Apple has rolled out a software fix to address a flaw that stored notifications marked for deletion on the device. This vulnerability allowed the @FBI to read deleted messages in @signalapp. The update comes weeks after it was revealed that the agency managed to forensically extract copies of incoming #Signal messages from a defendant’s iPhone in connection with an attack on the Prairieland ICE detention center facility. This was possible even after the app had been deleted, by exploiting the fact that copies of message content were stored in the device’s push notification database. Signal’s developers thanked Apple for its “quick action and for understanding and acting on the stakes of this kind of issue.”
