It is not the fault of everyone else if they are **** at that job - it is on them to deal with the issue and the absolute LAST organisation or anything that should be involved..is GOV

    first, messages aren't e2e encrypted. secondly, reduces the quality of pics/ videos being sent or uploaded on status. there’s a reason those contacts are not saved to my phone fgs, @WhatsApp fix up. a dumb update tbh, it’s high time to pivot to @signalapp

    @anilkseth @signalapp The privacy concern is fair, but this hasn’t “broken” iMessage encryption. Your messages are still end-to-end encrypted in transit. The person receiving them could already screenshot, copy, forward or photograph them; this just makes it easier for AI to read, search and summarise their copy. That’s an endpoint privacy issue, not an encryption backdoor.

    @LabDRN @signalapp A better way to do this is to only switch the service on for childs' phones. The parents do that when they set up the phone. No dig ID needed.

    @signalapp The problem I have with all this **** is, it will never be used for "justice". It will only ever be used for "control". They proved it to us with the lock-downs. "YOU" got tackled, and abused by cops for trying to walk on the beach, "THEY" got to dine at restaurants,without masks

    Anyone had problems with @signalapp just freezing soon as app is open, sometimes if im quick it will let me open a chat but it wont let me send messages etc, cleared cache, reinstalled etc still same!

    @signalapp Hi Signal team — solo dev building an AGPL app on libsignal. To ship it on the Apple App Store I'd need a §7 App Store additional permission for libsignal (you did this for an earlier library ). I've filed the details in a GitHub issue on the libsignal repo. Could I get it in front of the right person? My code's AGPL, full source published. Thanks for libsignal. 🙏

    Signal is wild. I send a message and it arrives to the other person whenever Signal feels like it. Real-time messaging? More like 'eventually messaging.' WhatsApp with all its problems at least delivers in the present tense. @signalapp fix it
