@signalapp Not sure if something is wrong in 5.21.6, sent a few images today that didn't completely render on my outgoing side (few lines of pixels, rest is gray), but look fine to the recipient and if I tap the image. Some hours later, issue is resolved on its own. Pixel 5

trying to transfer my @signalapp account to a new phone using the "transfer" functionality and it's just... not working. "unexpected error occurred". it's such an important app but the UI/UX just constantly tries my ******* patience.

Hey @signalapp please fix listening to voice memos on iPhone! When listening to a voice memo holding the phone to my ear it stops playing the sound after every voice memo.. UI shows it plays the memo, but no sound. Need to exit conversation or exit app and start again. Huge PITA.

@signalapp More delay issues? Pal sent me a reply at 8pm last night.....finally delivered to my phone (plugged, charged & online all the time) almost 12 hours later. You're starting to make WhatsApp look good 🙄

@faltenbalg @signalapp The fundamental problem with web interfaces is: there's no way to version, sign and securely distribute a web page. Instead, you're re-requesting the code you'll run every single time you visit the site (making audits practically impossible).

@MeinNamenichdu @signalapp First of all it's a non profit company , they are providing us service for free, what are you expecting??? Are you paying for it? Then stop with your high horse attitude. And its not like they are not trying to fix it. Especially after @elonmusk 's tweet signal is overloaded.

@Jmw986 @signalapp The problem is, it was hard to convince people. And suddenly the app doesn't work anymore because of the lack of updates. Many people don't want to use it any more. Then they prefer to write via whatsapp. For some, that's too much effort for too few chat partners.

@xabean @signalapp I hate to ask, but - have you opened a ticket with @Signalapp? I had a problem a couple years ago after one of their upgrades, and they not only figured out the issue, they gave me a custom build to fix it so I didn't have to wait for the fix to come in the next GA release!

.@MojaveFoneBooth @signalapp IRC is down (has been for a week or so) due to a change on Signal's side requiring UUID to send now which our current library that we're using doesn't support. As soon as it's updated we'll be back. @WhatsApp can be used as an alternative.
