My main issue with TG has always been the scammy bots/games and the fact msg aren’t encrypted by default unless you manually use Secret Chat. Other than that, it’s honestly a great and complete app

Wild Kore (@thewildkore) reportedSignal is wild. I send a message and it arrives to the other person whenever Signal feels like it. Real-time messaging? More like 'eventually messaging.' WhatsApp with all its problems at least delivers in the present tense. @signalapp fix it

If those users' Signal accounts hadn't been phished, it's likely at some point in the near future those same users' accounts on some other service would be phished as the same vulnerable point of entry (the user themselves) remains.

marc hofer (@marchofer) reported@BrendanEich @signalapp How !? Just disable notifications in the Signal settings and you can mitigate. Maybe it should be default and should come with a warning for users when activated. But the real issue is with iOS being garbage.
