    @Gi7w0rm @signalapp Even if they got access to a docker container, that doesn't allow them to intercept any messages because Signal does not have the encryption keys *at all*. At worse, they could bring down the app, slow down message transmission or disrupt service delivery.

    @signalapp The non-VOIP phone number requirement is so shockingly terrible for OpSec it’s hard to think you guys aren’t just a honeypot Why can’t we just use usernames?

    @dheeranet @Cryptomnomiconz @signalapp Well, I don’t know what to tell you. My least technically skilled friends don’t seem to have any trouble with it, and neither do hundreds of millions of other people. Perhaps you’re just not good enough with technology.

    @signalapp signal stopped sending/receiving a few days ago. I tried reinstalling, but when it tries to send me a code I get the error "unable to connect to service". Any ideas?

    Signal (@signalapp) has addressed circulating rumours that the service has been hacked and its messages compromised. In a statement, Signal said “this is false and Signal is not under attack" adding they suspect they are victims of a coordinated disinformation operation.

    @Cryptomnomiconz @signalapp The damn thing requires me to log in with my phone and link a device. I shouldn't need to login with a phone when I have a massive immobile desktop in front of me. Facebook Messenger doesn't require that.
