    Hi @signalapp. On iOS you ask for my recovery key as a reminder. This makes no sense to me. Either I still have it or I don't. If I don't have it anymore, your reminder will not help. What am I missing?

    @signalapp If used fraudulently this software could be used to scan bank accounts and other financial and data critical ones like passwords. This is not the way to control the problem and should be controlled through the data centres etc.

    @enteio its great to see to companies being honest, i dont think they had any strong encryption in the first place but its sad that everything out there have some issues like slow speed, ui/ux bugs, no proper business model, etc except for @signalapp , but needs number to signup

But what I am telling you is that if they create a privacy service where you can save your pictures or other days that you want to stay private nothing is stopping them from doing the same thing they are doing now. We need to act now

    @signalapp Hi Signal team — solo dev building an AGPL app on libsignal. To ship it on the Apple App Store I'd need a §7 App Store additional permission for libsignal (you did this for an earlier library ). I've filed the details in a GitHub issue on the libsignal repo. Could I get it in front of the right person? My code's AGPL, full source published. Thanks for libsignal. 🙏
