    @jenvgeorge @signalapp Go into the google play store / apple App Store and make sure your using the latest version of Signal. Then restart your phone and re-open signal. Should solve all problems & force your phone to automatically re-register for notifications.

    @RealGlenMerlin @signalapp People do like to create them for their peers, so if it's something that can be shared over E2EE, then it's doing what they want it to do, and doesn't require handing data to the service provider. The only real question is, is it really necessary for fun experience.

    @signalapp The big problem is, that all my friends use WhatsApp and nearly no one Signal... But I hope, that they also switch to Signal. Sadly I have to stick at WhatsApp at the moment. (sorry for my bad english)

    @Syenta1 @signalapp @WhatsApp I’ve never had an issue ringing the other person. If both have had issues it’s probably your network. Are you behind CGNAT? If so, try switching signal to relay mode

    @durumcrustulum @fugueish @signalapp I don't know how much of a part software signatures play - I once tried to champion signed manifests (back when Chrome Remote Desktop was switching to a PWA). There are non-trivial issues there with expiry, revocation etc, that might make it worse than TLS.

    @signalapp Hey @signalapp, I have a problem with importing my SMS messages. On my other phone I don't see prompt to do it. I uninstalled and installed the app again but with no luck. Any tips?

    @signalapp I understand "Signal can't fix an Android OS problem." But why is Signal (seemingly mainly via Moxie) being so obstinate against trying to educate its vulnerable users against a possible threat vector?

    @SharabSalam @ThatHappyDudee @signalapp Nope. They can easily get bought out, have no encryption by default and if you enable it, its still homemade and terrible. USE SIGNAL

    @jenvgeorge @signalapp On android I think, you can fix notifications from the app, newer versions of android will need a trip to Android settings. Make sure you have notifications enabled for signal. Without notifications enables you will only get new messages when you physically open the app.

    @signalapp I can see people mobile number in chat screen. What happens if someone takes screenshot and create unnecessary trouble. 0% privacy.
