@TwerkistanPM @Red_Rockete @stoleneyelids No, the BBC made a decision a little while ago that you had to have a TV licence to use iplayer, it used to be freely available to everyone in the UK, but I guess there are issues around revenue streams.

@Randombob18 Engrenages (Gears, but titled Spiral in English) is available on BBC iPlayer, as is Broen/Bron (the Bridge), if you've never watched them they are very good. Most English language TV shows are crap, American being the worst - derivative and dull.

@alexbell Genuine question, do you find any streaming service has a good UI? All4,Amazon Prime, Dave player(or whatever) are all terrible. BBC iPlayer and Netflix are increasingly bad too.

@boydhilton help me out. IMDB has 6 edifies listed for series 3 of Motherland but iPlayer only has 5.. are they holding the last one back for broadcast on the telly?

@EuroWhat It also means that 1) we won't be able to see any of the green room segments that play during commercials (or in the BBC's case "Quality analysis from professionals") AND that we can only rewatch the contest via iplayer for as long as they choose to keep it there.

1st world problem, but I'm going to moan I couldn't watch the game live so I recorded, which corrupted. Now I'm looking for playback. iPlayer doesn't have it, but BT Sport has highlights. Go to turn, but right under play is Jamie Vardy lifting the cup. So that's fun...

@bt_uk @DrJohnCosgrove I get exactly the same problem I.e. iPlayer kills the LTE connection but I am using a BT SIM card in a TP Link Archer router. So I suspect this is some sort of BT/ EE network issue ?
