@OddCantaloupe @SandyTarHeel @nils_sjoberg13 Besides, this person isn’t in the U.K. so the license is moot to them. Was just explaining why it won’t be airing anywhere else officially - because it’s public service content :) You can try a VPN but in my experience iPlayer does not work with a vpn abroad at all

@GoldCascade @ITV I like my glass. The itv app on it is the main issue. iPlayer, Prime, Netflix, Disney YouTube etc etc apps do everything you expect, itv hub doesn't do pause or scrub bar control. Only control is a stop button 😠 Glass native ui (the sky smart TV app if you like) is fine

@defcorp @GoldCascade @ITV Not true. Glass has live TV pause on every channel via it's internal storage. Most channels allow rewind etc, but, some content like Peston show doesn't. It's a licensing issue My glass integrates with Netflix, prime,Disney and iPlayer.

Does anyone out there know what error code 01119 means on the BBC iPlayer...? (...I'm guessing it's related to the extended buffering sessions we're having, though the rest of my tech is working quite happily with the 'net!)

@CaketinReynolds @phil_hansonphil @BritBoxHelpUK Sorry to hear that. Channel 4 also have issues with subtitles on catch up. I complained to BBC when it happened with them, they apologised and updated the episode on iplayer eventually. I can't understand why they can't get it right on prerecorded shows.

@DTIF__ @a516digital I’m using a Roku box for online viewing through iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 etc. Good quality HD. The only problem is I can’t record a streamed service, as I can with a DTR. I’m in Bournemouth with very bad DTT due to interferers.
