@BBCiPlayer It's not my wifi because Netflix and Prime work perfectly but iPlayer keeps freezing , content not available , buffers , cuts out . Pretty awful for a national broadcaster .

@BBCSport Where have the gymnastics gone?! Advertised as gymnastics coverage when moved to BBC One from iPlayer. One of my Olympic sport highlights - terrible coverage. Thanks for the snippets from the gymnasium though - just to remind me what I’m missing! Rubbish!

Forgetting how bad the #BBCOlympics coverage is (awful presenters and endless box-ticking) the fact you still cannot watch what happened FIVE hours ago on the iPlayer sums up the state of what we’re having to put up with.

@designdefined It keeps cutting out here . Netflix and Prime crystal clear but iplayer hardly watchable and then you keep having to switch channels . Terrible service

Hey @bbcsport stop faffing about with the bloody Olympic coverage on #iplayer. I don’t want to know the other results going on. I just want to watch the bloody road race. We’ve just got to the crux of the cycling and you’ve switched to gymnastics. @mrdanwalker please help.

Just the most awful coverage by @BBC of the Olympics.. Interrupting the cycling to show a replay of gymnastics and then can't keep a sport on one channel for it's whole length.. Oh no, half on bbc1 then rest on iPlayer.. heads should roll...😡😡😡😡

BBC's live coverage of #Tokyo2020 is an disappointment. Only 2 live streams at a time. Gone are the days when you can find (almost) all live events on iPlayer. Understand the rights issue, but event-hopping just antagonizes fans of every sport.

@XennialJoe @discoveryplus @Google Yep, same - it's not working at all from any device. iPlayer/Netflix etc all work fine, but Discovery Plus isn't working at all...bit annoying since I just signed up for it!

Note if not in Europe you need to be on a Euro/UK VPN for it to work, or if you're a US Discovery+ subscriber you get it anyway. Iplayer is clearly putting up rowing afterwards but not very quickly. Yesterday's was up within about 2 hours, today's not yet. Not clear why.

@adebradley @BBCSport I had hoped it was a teething problem but that explains it. iPlayer coverage was fantastic in 12 and 16, to lose that is genuinely gutting. Literally f*** the IOC.
