It wasn’t just a new idea they just wanted to try out. It was like an evolution that stayed in the franchise in every game until MW2019 decided to revert back. Of course this is all subjective, I’m just sharing my take. But I can even tell from a lot of what your saying that you seem to have a bigger issue with the execution of certain Scorestreak systems rather than it being an issue with the concept. You also seem to just want diversity between titles, which is fair, I want that too, but I think there’s better ways to go about that personally.

They are used to deathmatches like from CoD and expect same here. I heard many yellings from PvP-only-focused about Arc threat. They don’t wanna play around them.

Saying current cods are horrible etc is simply cap. The only real complaints and problems are: SBMM, Cheaters and the community of sweets that now play the game.
