Crunchyroll Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Jielhar (@Tozrok) reported@yamanakanobody As Gabe Newell from Valve put it, "piracy is almost always a service problem". Gamers largely buy their videogames from Steam because it's legal and convenient, and many paid for their anime on Crunchyroll when it was a good service. Without a good legal option, we turn to piracy

Handsome_t0x (@t0xicc0ma) reported@SeehIsMe So i was in a hotel for the last week. And their wifi wouldnt let me use my typical anime streaming site. So i used the free trial for crunchyroll. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! Never again will i use crunchyroll.
-
Antonino Zotoro (@DavidJa71760997) reported@Crunchyroll aye, I dunno how yall rocking over there but, fix ya **** *** system. I can’t recover my ******* account nor log in. You hoes been charging me monthly and I assume let some hacker get my account!… aye you ****** are gonna have to answer ASAP
-
bingoze (@bingoze_) reported@SeehIsMe i would have no problem paying for crunchyroll or whatever other service if they werent just abysmal. the websites have more shows in better quality with better subs, just overall a better experience. make the paid services worth paying for and ill pay
-
Kevin penayo (@Kevinpenayo6) reported@fool44922022 @Mashiro_yuh Subtitles aren't that hard to make and they are normally paid pennies for that kind of work. You have a ton of translators who are willing to do the job profesionally. Netflix figured out subs years ago. Or crunchyroll which was before a pirate website
-
Huey (@huey_ytofc) reported@mikey_bellamy @Crunchyroll It's an adaptation of a work published by Kadokawa, but the anime is not produced by them
-
I hate you all (@SLupine6818) reportedCrunchyroll needs to be broken up like wtf..
-
🌸Sam🌸 (@Kabukimononoke) reportedanytime im talking to my coworkers about anime and they find out the show im watching isnt on crunchyroll or netflix the convo just ends regardless of if the were interested in the work or not, incurious and opiated generation raised on instant streaming gratification
-
Daniel Herbert (@herbtrain) reported@Crunchyroll Can you please fix the subtitles being out of sync with the One Piece English dub dialog in the most recent episodes (at least up to 1148, haven’t checked any since I’m waiting for it to be fixed).
-
Dom | 🖤❤️ (@5andthen6) reported@NamiNagisaKawa Crunchyroll only ever has the most popular stuff it's so awful Also off topic but that room is what I strive to have one day
-
🇦🇺Wolf (@AWolf1989) reported@ChibiReviews Whoa, whoa, don't smile too broadly there, Chibi. It's NETFLIX! Sure, Crunchyroll deserves to crash and burn after all it's done, but Netflix are very close to being just as bad.
-
FindingPeace (@LittleGoodbye_) reported@bzarman @AnimexTwts Yeah atp the whole crunchyroll staff need to be arrested. Netflix and other streaming stuff has no issues at all
-
Usama Javaid 🇵🇸 (@JavaidUsama) reported@yamanakanobody Yeah! I lived in both Pakistan and Canada, half of what was available to me on Crunchyroll in Canada would disappear whenever I'd come back to Pakistan. During my childhood, bootlegs were the only way. Today it's less of an issue as streaming has improved

Aizen (@TechyAizen) reportedThere is one major reason why anime fans choose pirated sites over official platforms like Crunchyroll. These sites have almost every anime and are well structured, so I can easily find and watch shows. I can also download episodes to watch later. On the other hand, Crunchyroll has only about 10% of the anime available compared to pirated sites. So imagine paying money to watch a series that doesn’t even exist on the official platform. There are more issues too - some anime are exclusive to Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, so you can’t watch them even after paying for one service. But on pirated sites, you can watch everything easily with a single click. Before shutting down sites like 9anime, hianime, Zoro to, and others, official platforms should at least add 50% more anime to their libraries, because most people can afford a dollar a month.

Quinn (@InputVoid) reported@yamanakanobody There’s an extra problem for us. Our anime licensing is so split up that to watch everything you want, you’d be paying close to $50 a month to have access to every service. That’s Netflix, Hidive, Crunchyroll, Ocean Veil, and Prime Video. And that’s only if they get licensed…
