Why release a complete AAA game when you can release a beta that’s broken (except for the store, of course) for $60 and charge people $20 for cosmetics and $10 every two months for a battle pass?

Thats why games are released broken now and they say " oh we will fix it later in a patch" when back in the day the game wouldnt be allowed to be released
