  @BarkJack_ @AreYouFNKidding @Karancarte2289 I am glad to be back, too. I lost my old account to a glitch. Seriously...a freaking glitch. I had signed up with a gmail account. Then one day shortly after I made my way back to Megxit Twitter, X logged me out & when I signed in, I had clicked 'sign in with google' instead of typing in my email & password. That deleted my account and created a brand new one. There was nothing X could do they said.

  @TutaPrivacy Gmail -> Proton (but gmail is a necessary evil) Docs -> Docs (I have no problem with docs at all) Whatsapp -> Signal (Anyday I would prefer signal over WhatsApp but they need to add more features) Chrome -> Brave (Haven't used chrome since 2021, it's just a garbage) Instagram -> Not on any Meta owned SM except whatsapp

  Day 19 of learning System Design. Today I finally understood something I've never questioned before. Why doesn't Gmail, Spotify or ChatGPT ask me to log in every hour? The answer isn't: "Your session stays alive forever." It's actually a clever trade-off between security and user experience. Here's the flow: • You log in once. • The server gives you a short-lived Access Token (JWT). • When it expires, your app quietly uses a Refresh Token. • The server verifies it and issues a new JWT. • Your original request is retried automatically. You never notice any of this. A month ago I have "JWT" here in x and I did not what was back then Today they finally clicked.

  the ugly web dev history, frontend. I was ignorant of JavaScript and frontend tech, from 1999 to 2010. am a web backend dev in 1998. back then, professional programers sneer JavaScript (and php). except, those big corp actually need to use it sans choice, such as gmail, google map, amazon, ebay. (the need to update page sans reloading the whole page.) Only when Node.js in 2009 By Ryan Dahl, changed things. It introduced the async, which puzzled and derided by most programers. (async, a pain in the ***. One of the worst thing in programing language history, still so today, even with latest await etc. Reason is because js is single threaded. Async is a pretend fix on this concurrency issue.) In 2010 js did not have a library system. (nor did php, scheme lisp, for the first 10 years of their life. emacs lisp has no module/namespace to this day.) Commonjs and amdjs module system mess got introduced in the wild. A very complicated mess, which created concepts like bundlers (browserify, webpack), code repo and package manager (bower, npm), task runners (gulp). npm is a corp greed, designed so that 1 line code is considered a lib, to promote its popularity. Then in 2015, js finally had some basic features, such as real local scoped variable (let), real dictionary/hashtable/map data structure. but for reason, the JavaScript committee refused a “use new js”. (google chrome dev got stun by a “use strict”.) So, one thousands warts of js, stay in js. (such as var, use strict, string is utf16 and all methods cant deal with emoji, no real array masking as magical object with magical length. etc.) JavaScript landscape, is really 30 years of **** pile due to a in-10-days mistake. But cpp is worse.

  @guessworkinvest Build a routine in Claude code that checks your Gmail on this cadence. Let it draft responses to the emails or flag where you need to respond. Evolve the routine/skill with each pass. You’ll resolve your correspondence issues and overtime automate a great deal of it!

  The problem: Your Gmail profile photo is hidden from anyone outside your company — by default. Most people upload a photo and think they're done. But external leads, vendors & clients can't even see it. No face = no trust = lower open rates. It's silently killing your email game.

  @grok I do pay and it’s still fails to reliably read gmail and the Google Calendar. Don’t pretend you have a good product. It’s very bad. Pls fix the connectors! They are very badly done.

  @younggee704 @propdaofinance Yes, after an account purchase, the login details will be sent to your Gmail. If it's a crypto firm like PropDao, you'll trade crypto pairs on it

  It’s 2026 and the 6-member limit on the #GoogleOne family plan is still completely arbitrary and frustrating. Large families exist! #IndianFamilies I’ve had Gmail since 2008 (18 years of data & loyalty), I’m a Google Ultra Max user who previously gave feedback on Gemini’s initial limitations, and this should apply to all Google One subscriptions. We can’t pay for extra slots or add more members without a whole second plan. Time to fix this. One more stupidity is I can't my family members who are in India , I'm in the usa . It is completely arbitrary. I can share such feedbacks across our #Google. It is ours to make it better. Please think about it. I didn't find a Gmail to send the feedback. Hence sharing publicly. @Google @MadeByGoogle @sundarpichai
