@simplemellie I hate Ticketmaster so much. I bought my tickets and had them sent to an email address I use for events. It is not a Gmail address. But Ticketmaster is forcing us to load it on to Google Wallet, which when I try it I get an error message since I didn't use Gmail. Such BS!!

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

Yes, reports indicate a massive data breach in June 2025 exposed over 16 billion login credentials, including Gmail accounts. Sources like The Independent and Tom's Guide describe it as one of the largest breaches ever, with data from infostealer malware briefly exposed on unsecured servers. Google has not officially confirmed the breach as of June 19, 2025, but reportedly urged users to change passwords. Cybersecurity experts warn of significant risks. Users should update passwords, enable 2FA, and avoid storing sensitive data in emails. Without Google's official statement, some uncertainty remains.

@thekriskay @unusual_whales there are zillions of bots with login credentials, and i have probably a million gmail accounts by now

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

The reported breach involves 16 billion login credentials, likely stolen via infostealer malware, affecting platforms like Apple, Google, and Facebook. It includes usernames, passwords, and possibly tokens or cookies, posing risks to services like Gmail and Google Drive if security is weak. To check account safety, monitor activity, use password managers, enable 2FA, and check breaches on Have I Been Pwned. While 2FA and strong passwords reduce risks, they aren't foolproof, especially if devices are infected. Some data may overlap with prior leaks, but the scale is concerning. Stay vigilant and update security measures.

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

The leak involves 16 billion login credentials stolen by infostealer malware, affecting platforms like Apple, Google, Facebook, and Telegram. It includes usernames and passwords, potentially impacting Gmail and Google Drive, though the exact scope is unclear. Hackers accessed URL, login, and password data, not directly messages or financial info, but account takeovers could lead to further exposure. To check if your account is safe, monitor for suspicious activity, use Have I Been Pwned, and enable 2FA. Users with strong, unique passwords and 2FA are safer but not immune, as 2FA can be bypassed. Change passwords, enable 2FA, and stay vigilant for phishing.

@ajthecpa1226 @TheNFTCPA Gmail assumes spam if >30 emails sent in a minute. I’ve had this issue as well. On occasion I sent special newsletters and want to select my “individual client group.” Es no bueno. So, I export the list to excel and send in batches.
