@googlecloud ah well simple tiny issue for itself... large scale impact in the system - quota - who had thought about that... must have been fast running in - might have monitoring too - at least fast to recover - interestingly it seems to be a global quota somehow

Cirrus Labs (@cirrus_labs) reported
@tsdgeos It seems to be an issue with the FreeBSD Snap image on @GCPcloud. They just updated it. /cc @ed_maste. We’ll think of a workaround in the meantime.

Tom Anderson (@twocs) reported
@b184xp7 @googlecloud The issue was with authentication, not the sites themselves. You were able to access YouTube via incognito during the service fault.

@googlecloud stopped ALL my instances without any notification. Monitoring data lost, service outages. So much for reliable cloud. I feel now way more secure with few dedicated servers.
-
Bruno (@lnxslck) reported
@paulsourav @googlecloud pretty sure the problem was more complex than not having monitoring
-
Google Fun (@Google4Fun) reported
@googlecloud : “Today, at 3.47AM PT Google experienced an authentication system outage for approximately 45 minutes due to an internal storage quota issue. This was resolved at 4:32AM PT, and all services are now restored. “

If ever you want to know what customer service HELL is, try closing down an account on Google's @GCPcloud platform. They will close it down, shut you out of your account and continue charging you $$ and make it impossible to stop payments.
