@googlenesthelp Hello! My Nest Thermostat hasn’t been able to locate a WiFi signal in over 30 days (w5 code). I’ve gone through all logical steps to fix this, is there something else I can do?

@googlenest Ah sorry guys - got a notification from SmartLife that they had network issues. Decided to replace them with a reputable brand! Thanks for taking the time out to help nonetheless!

@googlenest Issue only started in the past couple of days. Initially the thermostat was intermittently dropping out from the WiFi - all other devices were fine. I restarted the thermostat and powered the router off and on but the W5 error appeared on the thermostat.

@jpatanooga @googlenest Yes, we have wireless temp sensors and power consumption. The challenge is old houses don't have room specific hvac controls. I looked into some DIY options, but the chatter seemed to be smart vents might be bad for the furnace in the long run.

Nearly two months now for @googlenest to send me an email to replace a faulty smoke alarm.such a large company, such poor customer care!!!!

@googlenest After several hours on the phone with support they said it doesn't have anything to do with our network settings and that its a known issue from their end. We asked how we can resolve it and were told we were SOL.

@googlenesthelp I have been told almost daily by Google Nest Support that my issue for a refund is escalated and being looked into by a specialist and someone will get back to me... for several months now... not the best experience. How does one get help?

@peteskomoroch @adamlaiacano @googlenest Was the issue that the Nest couldn't connect to your Wifi? Do you have Ubiquiti Unifi APs? I had endless problems but was able to resolve it. I only use Nest thermostat because I think it looks nice ;) and I can access remotely. I don't use any of the "smart" features.

@peteskomoroch @googlenest I'm shocked by how bad our nest thermostat is. If it wasn't free, I would've returned it.

@googlenest If they've updated to the newer Chromecast version then we'll talk about why it's not working for me. If not, that explains why it's not working at all.

@DataJunkie @adamlaiacano @googlenest The cloud dashboard with access to the camera feed and the video recordings is broken in web browsers. Shows blue spinners where the camera feeds should be.

@googlenest Yes. I have a C by GE smart plug that always disconnects from Google Home or vice versa at around 3am every morning. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
