So one of my nest camera just suddenly stops working after 3 yrs and @googlenesthelp @googlenest tells me there is no where I can get it repaired. So I'm stuck with and 800. Purchase and suppose to pay for a subscription for something that's not working?

  • underwaterryan Ryan Offord (@underwaterryan) reported

What would really help here @googlenest is some log file showing 'why' it's gone offline. Just an error message so I can diagnose it. There's nothing in my router log and there's absolutely nothing to see what's going on. It simply goes offline when everything else is online

@googlenest @googlenesthelp my nest protect won’t connect after a year. After an hour with support was told “too bad, you’ll need to replace it” If I can’t trust your product and you don’t stand behind it, they’re all going in the trash and you’ve lost a customer.

  • scott_thewspot Scott (@scott_thewspot) reported

lol, ok, so a quick test I did and it looks like it takes around 30 seconds to action the initial request, but if I ask a second time it then does it immediately. Not having the same issue with other non-ikea devices though. @googlenesthelp

  • paulrobichaux paulrobichaux (@paulrobichaux) reported

Boy, @googlenest support has really gone downhill. More than 75min on the phone for an RMA for an in-warranty failed unit, which they can't process "because of an API error". ETA 4 days to get me an "advance replacement" unit. Looks like it's time for an @ecobee.

  • cjbush Chris Bush (@cjbush) reported

I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but I've had 3 brand new @googlenest Protect smoke sensors fail in the last 4 months. Anybody else have those problems? Seriously rethinking which brand I should go with. #Nest

@googlenesthelp Hi, my Nest Thermostat suddenly lost WiFi connection and I’m not able to troubleshoot after several attempts. WiFi networks won’t even show up on the device. Need help!!

  • TechnicalTrain Scott Marcus (@TechnicalTrain) reported

@googlenesthelp Actually, I just checked and it's a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd gen (has the bubble level). The web page your link directed me to doesn't show that until you scroll down.

  • zpetersen Zach Petersen (@zpetersen) reported

@paulrobichaux @googlenest @ecobee I've been running an Ecobee thermostat for probably 5 years now and its great. I also don't have to worry about any Google/Nest nonsense. Support the one time I needed it was great and identified a problem with my furnace rather than the thermostat.

  • ToffeeReb Rebecca Martin (@ToffeeReb) reported

I see @googlenest have still more fixed the issue with it constantly disconnecting from Bluetooth then. It drive me bonkers at the end of last year but thought I’d give it another try. 4th disconnection today and I’ve been using it less than an hour.

  • marvslonim Marvslonim (@marvslonim) reported

@googlenesthelp I have a stainless steel nest thermostat that’s worked great, all of sudden it won’t connect to my WiFi. I’ve done all the resetting procedures and manually typed in the network name. It just spins and gives a message that it can not find the network….help!

  • JawdatHalabi Jawdat Al-Halabi (@JawdatHalabi) reported

@JonnElledge @VonHaus_uk We got a @googlenest fire alarm, and it used batteries so quickly it would be cheaper to let the house burn down and rebuild it. I don't know if it is the worst £100 I ever spent, but pretty close
