Google Nest Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • a_mit14 Angie Mitrisin (@a_mit14) reported

@DrewMitrisin @googlenest Your enchiladas will be in the garbage disposal if you put me on blast like this again!

  • katherinesansom Kate Sansom (@katherinesansom) reported

@google @googlenest Literally the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. When the customer service rep says “I’m not just going to tell you something to make you happy” that’s when you realized it’s not about the customer.

  • NickKampe Kampe (@NickKampe) reported

has anyone working @googlenest ever used the web UI for (multiple) cameras for any amount of time? It's truly a bad experience and performs really poor in all browsers even on some of the most performant machines, the recommendation is to open more browsers to see all of them too

  • GHSWeather GHS Weather (@GHSWeather) reported from Goshen, Indiana

By switching every light in the house to LED, installing a @googlenest thermostat, setting lights on a timer and dialing down the temp on our water heater, our household saved over $150 on @NIPSCO utilities over the last year. #bigthingshavesmallbeginnings

  • rdubb7699 Rob Rodriguez (@rdubb7699) reported

@googlenest so we bought a nest battery operated alert in 2019 and now it is telling us there is a sensor issue and it needs to be replaced? After 2 years?? Really?

  • sosundays david baeumler (@sosundays) reported

@googlenesthelp (2) then I did a factory reset to the upstairs thermostat- and deleted it from the nest app and google home app. Then tried to reconnect it to the nest app and made it to connecting to the internet and then I got an m15 error: “Your thermostat couldn’t be added to your account”

  • troyhunt Troy Hunt (@troyhunt) reported

    @stebets @googlenest Yep, my bad

  • ____myah MEEZY❄️ (@____myah) reported

@googlenesthelp ... .. now how am i supposed to know what the problem is? That’s what i came to you for

  • mexiwi Arturo Pelayo (@mexiwi) reported

@googlenest @googlenesthelp at what point is the fix for authentication of the AppleTV app to view nest cams coming? Its been almost 2 years, the app is still in the app store, yet the porting of google accounts borked it.

  • D_P_P_ Dave (@D_P_P_) reported

@DJBrewtal @googlenesthelp @googlenesthelp I have the same issue. Thermostat has suddenly lost connection and will not reconnect.

  • sosundays david baeumler (@sosundays) reported

@googlenesthelp Thanks. I have 2 Nest Learning Thermostats 2nd gen. The one downstairs works fine and is online. The upstairs one went offline yesterday and said “failure to connect”. I tried resetting the thermostat, reset the network, reset all nest WiFi routers and points.

  • mexiwi Arturo Pelayo (@mexiwi) reported

@googlenesthelp This was a feature removed from the device with no notice. You’ve made it very difficult for those of us with elderly parents who cannot accommodate for any of your new device suggestions. And honestly, why would I buy an android or google device after this experience? Fix it.

  • coffeehustler Martino (@coffeehustler) reported

@googlenesthelp I opened up a ticket on Friday and haven’t heard back yet, still an issue impacting 3x cameras :-/

  • Gemma_1806 Gemma Cholerton (@Gemma_1806) reported

@googlenesthelp Ok. Would help if you had that on your website to avoid the likes of me contacting you! I’ve found a universal adapter on Amazon thankfully, although would have preferred the Google branded version.

  • sougalego Galego Galeginho (@sougalego) reported

@carrier Your Cor system is down. Again. For 30 hours. Anybody know if @googlenest or @ecobee will work with that system?
