My Nest Protect (battery version, EU) just failed spectacularly in the middle of the night. It let off a interference sound (Audio distortion), flashed its blue LED and went dark. Removing the batteries & putting them back in has no effect. It’s dead now :( Any help @googlenest?

@googlenesthelp The nest point is a pulsing white. It’s not a new set up. I was actually using it for almost two months and this problem recently occurred

@googlenesthelp There is no damage on the wires and the Nest IQ was never without power during the wifi SSID change. But as soon as the SSID changed the IQ outdoor bricked itself like it is unpowered. Unplugging, waiting, reconnect power did not fix it.

@googlenest @googlenesthelp It sucks that you pushed everyone off of Play music to YouTube Music but I still can't play my playlists on YouTube music through my nest devices. Never had an issue on Play Music. #fixIt

@googlenest @madebygoogle Our newly installed nest is NOT recharging, 2 calls for support, 85° humid dog dayz of summer and they want me to wait 48 hours for a link to replace the defective unit! NO AC for over a week over a nest!!! HELP

Got home to discover the @googlenest x Yale lock is offline - and has been since the middle of the night. Why no notification that it went offline? Also nothing I do seems to resolve it, so I'm probably going to have to go through the ridiculous factory reset process again.

@googlenesthelp Recap: ONE MONTH LATER… still NO help! TERRIBLE customer and product support. I’ve been emailing w/ various CS Reps on the same thread, following all their instructions.. and they ghosted me! How many of my “home”s and paid subscription are you going to delete?!
