@Google @googlenest Y is the Nest such absolute garbage? If my home takes 4 hours to drop by 10 degrees (TY “enviro friendly HVAC”) & i have it set to be 10 degrees lower in 4 hours, WHY DOESN’T IT TURN ON THE HVAC? It can easily calculate the average time to accomplish!

@googlenesthelp I ask it the same things, like play or pause my podcast/song, or control my lights, and I havent had any problems before so I think it's something else. The device hasn't been moved since before, and it's well withing that range. I have rebooted the device, same problem.

@googlenesthelp my nest thermostat can’t find any WiFi networks. I started having this problem yesterday with my 3rd Gen Black Thermostat purchased June 25th, 2020 and installed within a week after receiving. Restarting WiFi and the thermostat doesn’t fix it. Please help!!

@googlenesthelp First time. We have two of these thermostats. One we’ve had for several years and never had an issue. This one we just got a few months ago and has been busted for a couple weeks while trying to troubleshoot.

@googlenest Hi, I seem to keep getting motion alerts for movement outside my activity zones, despite turning off all motion sensing outside of the zones. Is there a fix for this? Am I missing something? Thanks!

@googlenesthelp It’s gen battery. It started at around 11pm in UK (UTC+1). Gone midnight here now so I have had to settle the kids down and freaked out dogs. Totally false alarm. Replaced batteries, still 🚨. I took the batteries out and removed it in the app. System now gone green.

With solar my energy usage is mostly independent of the grid. Without my consent @googlenest enrolled our house in a "rush hour". Inside temp was 80 F and climbing. Starting to think the cloud is the problem more than the solution.
