@googlenest Hi there. Why does my app keeps saying the nest unit is off-line when the next unit is saying it is online, on the same Wi-Fi is my phone with the app, and everything else is working. It only seems to be an issue with the app.

@googlenesthelp It has since been resolved. The issue was it was asking me to confirm my identity and the only way it would do so is with the Gmail app which I don’t want to install

@googlenesthelp your call back system and responses on the forums are appalling service. I’ve paid for a subscription to nest aware and can not get it to work. I see many others have the same issue. Will not be using in the future!

@googlenesthelp What's especially frustrating is that it looks like there used to be a way for me to access the kind of detailed information I'm hoping to get to help diagnose the issue, and it was actively removed as part of the migration to the google home app

@googlenesthelp I think we first noticed it in December. The point is about 8 m from the primary unit down a flight of stairs.

@googlenesthelp I'm in the UK. I have the Nest Wifi router (Snow) and point (Snow). The router seems to be fine but the point drops offline randomly and has to be restarted to work again. I bought them in Sept last year from the google store.

@googlenesthelp This response has wound me up. When the Mesh point is working I get good coverage (130MBps downstairs and 250 MBps upstairs) the problem is the downstairs point drops offline for no reason.

My @googlenest Thermostat says it's 80 degrees in my house. It's obviously not - maybe 68/69. There's no heat near the thermostat...anyone ever had this happen? Powering down didn't help. Factory reset didn't either

Cannot recommend enough NOT to buy a @googlenest ever since @Google got their grubby hands on it, total trash product. Never loads the history, app is constantly slow and awful, they couldn’t have made it worse if they tried. DO NOT BUY IT.

@googlenest @googlenesthelp constantly seeing the blue animated circle when trying to view live feed this has been the case for the last 2 to 3 weeks this is a paid for service through nest aware which isn’t working. When are you gonna have this problem fixed?

@googlenesthelp Most video conferencing/screen sharing applications that aren't in the list of apps shown in "preferred activities" quickly degrade the video bitrate below 1Mbps, but without the ability to access diagnostics on the router it's impossible for me to determine if it's the problem

Update on the @madebygoogle saga, just got off the phone with their support. They won't refund me the $100 they charged me for a broken product from their store because they say they no longer make the item. Yet they sold it to me just last month. @googlenest are scammers.
