@googlenesthelp What help? Yes I turned on ECO when I set it up. That apparently means it’s my fault it turns on the heat when the temp is 10 degrees higher than the setting I have in. Thanks so much!

@BrentSickmiller @googlenesthelp Good luck in getting this sorted. Same issue for me and before sending the replacement they need to receive the device first. My heating has been off since

  • farktal Aaron Knight is also farktal@higheredweb.social (@farktal) reported

@googlenesthelp About 2 weeks or so ago? Coincided with maintenance work on furnace, though main thermostat’s been fine. Initially assumed needed to replace battery, but existing tested good and new one didn’t change.

  • MarxizMphoto Jason (@MarxizMphoto) reported

@googlenest this morning my nest (yrs old) has only a red flashing light which I see is usually a battery issue. I charged it with a charger for a bit and it worked but then drained again. If it’s determined the issue is the nest device itself do you offer replacements?

  • neilbridgeman Neil Bridgeman - Rail Low-Voltage Specialist (@neilbridgeman) reported

@jamieblatant @googlenest It is just the outside stuff. Really poor quality and I am at a 50% failure rate after 18 months.

  • SJM0911 Yes, It's Happening (@SJM0911) reported

@googlenesthelp are the worst cameras ever - expansive, unreliable and the wifi range is like 5 feet to the access point max
