    @googlenesthelp hello, my heat link has no lights and can't connect to my nest thermostat. I followed the error code link H71 and this said that boxt would repair and a google reference would be auto generated, this didn't happen. Can you send me a reference please

    @bebop_kor @googlenest @GoogleStadia No it wasn't. They couldn't have not shut down SG&E

    Had a @googlenesthelp thermostat installed, against better judgement, and it’s genuinely the worst bit of tech that I have ever come across. The instructions are nonexistent, the set up and app process just don’t work, and the app is more interested in tracking you than working.

    @rakeshlobster @tfadell @googlenest Google just messed up their whole HOME ecosystem pretty bad. Google Home app is a shitshow, Google speakers are confusing, buggy and super slow now. The company is doing too many things without focussed effort.

  • Tallestpurpl
    Tallestpurpl (@Tallestpurpl) reported

    @googlenesthelp So, if I understand, I cannot use the app unless I allow it to constantly track my location so that two features that I don’t want will work? Your app/device is a privacy nightmare and demands access that is not required with no options for consumers to choose what they provide.

    @googlenesthelp that i know, but since i have devices in my nest app, it sends me to login in there

    @googlenest @googlenesthelp On hold…again. A second best product to fail this month. Quality is certainly not job 1. My resolve to rid myself of your garbage products is only growing stronger.

    @googlenesthelp Hi- I have a Nest that I'm trying to connect to my heat pump heating/cooling system. I am having trouble getting it to turn the heat pump on. It controls the fan and aux heat just fine, but only turns on the heat pump for ~30 seconds. Old thermostat works fine

  • ChefNoff
    Andy Lisnoff (@ChefNoff) reported

    @googlenesthelp Why is it that you helped me troubleshoot my issue then when everything you suggested didn’t work, you ghosted me? The moment you realized the issue wasn’t with my setup, rather with your equipment, you stopped responding.

    @googlenesthelp I've just bought a brand new Nest Thermostat E, managed to connect the actual thermostat, but no luck with heatlink. It came up with error code TH030. An internet search came back without useful information. I have tried the following steps but still failed.

    So so frustrating trying to deal with @googlenesthelp. Terrible, terrible customer service.

  • Tallestpurpl
    Tallestpurpl (@Tallestpurpl) reported

    @googlenesthelp You give smart devices a bad name and slow the adoption of potentially useful tech by grabbing as much data as you can and preventing consumers from making choices about their data.

    @googlenesthelp I'll try - thanks. Would a factory reset help?

    @google @googlenest Now its my bedroom Nest Mini again this time since today evening that suddenly Continued Conversation has got disabled for it. The only way to fix it is to remove it from the room, reset it physically, and then set it up & add back to the room. Ease-of-use! 🙏🏻
