I have 2 Nest E thermostats they are only 17 months old. The downstairs unit stopped connecting to the WiFi a few days ago. I have tried all the troubleshooting help of nest support with no luck. I am out of warranty so they will not replace. Total crap @googlenest

@googlenest I haven't had any problems with other devices. The doorbell camera and Nest hub never seem to go offline either.

@googlenest This has been happening since the Chromecast with Google TV launched. I have reinstalled the 3rd party apps (Amazon, History) with no improvement, but of course other users report the same problems. I have not done troubleshooting on the bugs because I can't fix bugs from here.

I got 2 @googlenest thermostats installed yesterday and my life is changed. 👌 No longer do I have to go down two flights of stairs to double check the heating on the ground floor. All controlled by app or voice. Bliss #PowerLife #AutomateAllTheThings

Is it just me or is Google Home/Assistant getting worse in every possible way lately? It can't recognise what we're saying anymore and integration with third-party apps is very broken. Is there a total reset option for Home/Assistant? Ping @googlenest? #googlehome

@davemerwin @nhuntwalker Don't count on help from googlenest. They told me 3 weeks ago I could replace my (under-warranty) Nest thermostat for free. I've been told 5 times I'd receive an email in 24-48 hrs. 5 times!

@googlenest my Home app says I should be able to stream my WyzeCam to either a Nest Display or Chromecast device, but all the help file talks about is the Nest Display, which I don't have, and so far don't want. Are there instructions for how to stream to my Chromecast somewhere?

@googlenesthelp just verified that my thermostat is malfunctioning and they need to send a replacement. Where it went ALL BAD.... either send the thermostat and have no way to control the heat (it’s in the 30’s) or a $250 credit card hold! WTF?! Supervisor please.

Either way it's clearly a problem & to make matters worse @homedepotCanada tried to tell me that they were new and @googlenest just comes with open boxes and that I should take it because it was the last one. Get home to missing pieces then see online they have 14 in stock.

@googlenest is weak..i spent 3 times the amount for a #GoogleNest Wifi as a Linksys and it works worst than the 3 year old Linksys. Don't waste $200 on this product. They'll keep trying to get you to buy more access points. What about when I am 2 feet away and signal is trash?

@googlenest Hey Google... the issue is still there. The bluetooth connection between speakers and Google Home/Mini keep disconnecting every few minutes. When can we expect this to be fixed?

@googlenesthelp Rebooted everything and the 2 that were offline came back on. Since then they have all dropped from time to time so nothing has changed. I searched and others have been having the same problem. I think it may be a router problem and I need to get a mesh router. Sound familiar?

@googlenesthelp I have 4 Nest Learning thermostats. One of them has developed the well known W5 error code. I have tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps without success. It is my understanding that these units need to be replaced. Please let me know how to proceed. Thanks
