Steve Bucholtz (@steveo986) reported@MojangSupport I’m glad it was finally restored. Will you be compensating anyone for this outage that was unannounced? I feel like it was handled very well and I would advise everyone to never use that link you posted because it is completely and utterly worthless. I’ve played other games that have had outages and when you log into the game, it notifies you and apologizes and gives updates. The technology exists. This is a paid additional service on top of a paid game.

That IS my single player. You're a great example of the problem with consumers in general. You are probably ok with paying for all kinds of stuff you don't use.
