Toby Benson (@tobymedia) reportedAmazing how a multi-million dollar company like @ring can have such terrible UX in their app/website that it doesn’t let you subscribe to their pro package… like I’m trying to give you money & you’re not letting me - crazy! This page opens whenever I click to upgrade and it’s a dead page with info about the plan… and says “plans can’t be managed in the ring app” and there’s nowhere to click!! Madness.

ITDUDE F.E.L.L.A (@The_Real_ITDUDE) reported@esx1422 @NETGEAR @ring Nah, it's been going on for ages. Check the reddit thread. I linked. It's a false positive, but no one is bothered enough to fix it.
-
FULLΛM (@waynefullam) reported@Ring the fact that I was able to seamlessly resume a support chat I started yesterday, with the new agent already having full context of the previous conversation, is a really elegant system. They had the issue resolved in under 5 minutes once I was on-site with the hardware. More companies need to do this.

Startup Academy (@vc__backed) reportedThe story of Ring and Jamie Siminoff is one of the best examples of waiting for the right moment. Jamie was able to sell Ring for $1.2 billion to Amazon, but first he had to turn down an offer from Shark Tank. "Kevin O'Leary gives me this offer, which was it just going to bankrupt the business. It was like royalties and all this stuff. Like we needed to build something bigger." - @ring Founder, @JamieSiminoff on @The_RoomPodcast
