@ring doorbell was denied by all of the sharks on #sharktank during its pitch episode, in 2018 it sold to Amazon for $1billion dollars. Gate keepers aren’t ****, never give up.

@therealDeFlock @ring @HomeDepot Well, if it had an automated pepper ball gun or hi flow pepper spray with it, I could see it, but the Thugs could have that thing torn down and carried away before any live security guard could get there.

@WyzeCam If you ever partner with Flock, Palantir, or Law Enforcement the way @ring and @amazon do, I will cancel my **** and physically destroy all 12 of my cameras and find a new option. I need your commitment that you wont give in to this bullshit dragnet.

@ring "Neighbors" disappeared in app. Not just my phone. All family members and additional devices having same issue.

@ring you guys have the worst customer service in the world. The lens cover that’s supposed to protect the lens fell off, which isn't supposed to happen, and therefore makes the camera defective. And the best you can do is give me a 35% discount for me to spend $ to replace something I didn't break. Do better.

@rahul the problem people have with flock (and other megacorp surveillance systems, like @ring being used by police departments), is the massive network effects and the scale and nature of surveillance that arises out of that. sure, this is also why you guys are funded by @a16z and venture capital, but forcing these kinds of product features at a regulatory level actually makes it so smaller upstarts cannot break into the market and have alternative solutions to people’s privacy fears. of course, you guys and other incumbents know this. for example, i would be ok for select cameras in my locality that are actually fully accessible to any fellow citizen resident. there is no expectation of privacy in a public place, but for a community to actually adjudicate if they want cameras, they should have access to them and to the user experience of the surveillance operators. no audit logs, just everyone has access at all times. and then the community makes a decision at that point to say, ‘where do we actually want to have constant surveillance that is in the interest and aligned with the values of our community’

@ring just had the most horrific customer service experience. Camera failed, but you've deactivated my device and the lights are permanently on causing a nuisance to my neighbours. You shouldn't have done this until the new device was installed. Customer service refused to help.

Awful customer service from @ring . Multiple times trying to resolve an issue that is at their end and never a resolution. No complaints department and no escalation paths. Poorly run

@Amanda234712 @ring Is that due to a problem with Ring or because you all wanted it offline?
