    @kemerson08 @ring @pink_dottie Frustrating that ring doesn't provide a backup plan to their customers when outage happens. My girl missed her shift at work because she did not know how to disarm the alarm and was afraid the alarm would set off when she opened door with 'home' status.

    @ring When will you implement fallback to local communication between devices on the same LAN you get such outage? It would at least alleviate some issues related to your shaky infrastructure. It's not hard, Google mDNS.

    @ring @OraDubs About 12 hours you're still investigating the outage? I would think a security system would have a backup plan for an outage.

    @AndrewM497 @ring My Alexa has been fine just ring. It doesn’t happen often but they should have backup plans redundancies should a service go down. So it’s pretty poor. This isn’t down to ring but Amazon obviously saving on costs.
