Ring Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • RM_R_CT Robert Mancini (@RM_R_CT) reported

@ring Thanks. Does that mean if I subscribe to Protect Plus (1st Generation), if our WiFi goes down, the alarm will still use a cellular network in the event someone breaks into the house and notify monitoring that someone has broken in?

  • javiblu Carlos Javier Rodz (@javiblu) reported

Hear a loud boom in my neighborhood. Pick up my device to check the outdoors cameras and they don’t come on. Called @ring after securing the perimeter and they tell me to check the camera on another device. Yes the bad people outside will wait for me to get my tablet. #CSFail 👎🏽

  • jazonuk J (@jazonuk) reported

@olivia_keelyn @ring They are down for me too

  • LaceLaRula El Bandit-O (@LaceLaRula) reported

@ring That’s one lucky guy!! My **** freezes all the time. Ringer Cam SUCK ****!!

  • HowSublime_ gtb (@HowSublime_) reported

@ring **** y'all for removing features from the plan I had goodbye you pieces of ****

  • Cool60203618 Cool (@Cool60203618) reported

@ring The fact that y’all had the audacity to charge customers $20 for something as basic as monitoring is ******. I’m glad I didn’t open my security system yet. I’m returning this piece of ****.

  • JosephCongiundi Joseph Congiundi (@JosephCongiundi) reported

@ring Too bad your Ring Protect customers will have to pay double ($200/yr) starting 2025 for the same essential features. I hope you reinstate the $100/yr non pro plan that includes 24/7 monitoring. Most folks don’t need a Wi-Fi router (only 1500 sq ft) or Alexa Guard Plus.

  • TdotTbot Tony (@TdotTbot) reported

@ring when will you fix not being able to remove shared users from spotlight cam? I can’t use it cause someone has access and can’t remove. For taking security so seriously (apparently) this is a huge and embarrassing oversight. Maybe don’t get ring if you want functionality.

  • DJPower007 The PolarPrince (@DJPower007) reported

@ring I started having issues a half hour ago where my notifications are only showing text and no video preview. Is there a possible outage on the go?

  • HighestOneYet ItWontGoHowUThink (@HighestOneYet) reported

@ring my ring pro didn’t come with any angle mounts or mounts at all for that matter. Need some help

  • lilangelsmom121 beachmom (@lilangelsmom121) reported

@olivia_keelyn @ring Mine are down too

  • DavidMcGuiness David McGuiness (@DavidMcGuiness) reported

@ring With respect I’ve been through that process and the team are only interested in selling me new cameras totalling £400 with a discount. I’m not prepared to replace poor hardware every 3 years , thanks

  • RexZahler Rex Zahler (@RexZahler) reported

@ring_uk @ring Are you ever going to fix the iOS app?? The android app works fine.

  • GoldenReaper759 GoldenReaper (@GoldenReaper759) reported

@ring I was going to buy your product but you don’t even provide monitoring with the $10 subscription anymore. **** you guys. I’m forced to spend double the amount I do with competition to get half the features.

  • AlexCollinsActs Alex Collins (@AlexCollinsActs) reported

@ring why don’t you have email addresses for customers to use? Automated chat is clunky; calling isn’t always an option. 3 of 4 exterior security camera floodlight bulbs are FULL of water and not functioning properly. Not condensation, installed by a pro. Please fix this issue.

  • DavidMcGuiness David McGuiness (@DavidMcGuiness) reported

@skydiver2012 @ring In the UK it’s £2.50 per camera, per month which is ok, my only issue is both my cameras have failed after 3 years.

  • curls4thewin Curls (@curls4thewin) reported

The @ring Android app is broken and has been for a long time. They keep putting out new products and services that are useless when the basic functions of the app don't work. Modes are broken, notifications are delayed, people only mode doesn't work and on and on. Fix the app.

  • RexZahler Rex Zahler (@RexZahler) reported

@ring No thanks. I spent an hour trying to fix this with a represenative before, adding the device and deleting it and all the other steps. The doorbell is 4 feet from the router . The iOS app doesn’t work, the android app connects quickly. Hire some new people in your iOS team.

  • tr_rutherford Tony Rutherford (@tr_rutherford) reported

@amazonnews @ring So if one does not have eero, alarm will be ****??

  • jazonuk J (@jazonuk) reported

@ring @kenyableevit Down here again too

  • BlakeMcCollum Blake McCollum (@BlakeMcCollum) reported

Recently 3 way called @ring support to help my father in-law with a faulty motion sensor. With a slight language barrier (technical words in the tech world are difficult translations) they quickly scheduled a call back with a Mandarin translator. I respected that extra mile 10/10

  • HaligonianXP HaligonianCanuck (@HaligonianXP) reported

Canadians using @ring Alarm and monitoring services, will need to contact Ring asap. I lost the monitoring, because they are rolling out a new service for the Americans, and doesn't include Canada. Ring has not notified their Canadian customers of this issue. #RingAlarm #Ring

  • declantwomey Declan Twomey (@declantwomey) reported

@olivia_keelyn @ring Mine are down too

  • Andrew_OSU Andrew O'Hara (@Andrew_OSU) reported

@bkelevate @ring Someone needs to remind a @ring that they’ve let a lot of people down

  • javiblu Carlos Javier Rodz (@javiblu) reported

@ring called their client service and was not able to get help. My camera not coming in and they advice me to call my internet provider. I have 4 cameras and have issues with one. What that has to do with wifi provider. Pass da buck don’t worry about my safety. #letmegetanother

  • kenyableevit president elect Kenya B. Lee, PhD., Astronaut (@kenyableevit) reported

    @ring still Not working

  • sofarihate2020 MBC (@sofarihate2020) reported

@ring so disappointed in your product! I have the same problem thats thousands have. I get an alert that someone is at my door, open the app and all it does it say loading and never connects. It’s not my Wi-Fi & it’s not my cell phone data everything else seems to work just fine!

  • RM_R_CT Robert Mancini (@RM_R_CT) reported

@ring , are you telling me I need to purchase an entirely new alarm system with Ring Alarm Pro to have cellular backup incase WiFi goes down? I just bought the alarm package at Costco 2 weeks ago with the normal base station believing I would get cellular backup (as said on box).

  • wlchapman William Chapman (@wlchapman) reported

@ring is a joke these days. Removing features people like, can't keep their service network stable, and still expects to be paid. At this point in the juncture, I say it's nearly gotten to the point Ring needs to pay people to use their trash, instead of charging for it.

  • GoldenReaper759 GoldenReaper (@GoldenReaper759) reported

@zalifar79 @ring No it’s not. It’s ******* terrible. Almost double the price to even get monitoring for ring alarm and that’s way more then the competition. They lost my business here.
