@NoBadNoel @AlphamegaZulu @IndieWire You pretty much just described the problem? Fans wanted the crossover, but copyright drama made it a problem. Shazam and Black Adam was originally made to be together, but Dwayne said no. I think it's more with how he said it though and we all know the man knows his star power.

@deshawnwood86 IK, I'm not upset at the Rock or anything cuz I'm sure we're gonna get that crossover in Shazam 3. If the movie's good, I got no problem with Black Adam having his own movie, the JSA being in it will pad the runtime out.

Deathstroke isn’t a Batman villain but I saw no complaints when he was gonna be the main villain in the Batfleck movie. So now it’s a problem that Black Adam isn’t gonna be a Shazam exclusive one off villain and is going to be made into something greater than the source material?

@Nasa_Grounded @CruzSaint25 I wanna clarify,I'm not arguing Black Adam SHOULD be a separate origin movie. I just understand it being separate and dont think it makes a big difference. I also wouldn't argue that he SHOULD have been in Shazam. I'm fine with either and now that they've went down this path-

@DCU_Direct Theory: I said this about a month ago… After they defeat Sabacc, Black Adam becomes more “corrupted” (grows the pointed ears/hair). Waller calls in Superman and Shazam. They put him in his place, for now… Superman, Shazam, and Black Adam stare down, before he takes off.

@RealNinjaPal Black Adam is mostly a bad guy though that's the problem he should have been in the second shazam movie and you see if he's good enough to earn a spin-off movie you don't spend the main villain of your arch nemesis off into its own movie it makes no sense

@TheQuiver_ Gotta say, I loved Shazam & look forward to the sequel but it makes me sad that we’re getting a Greek myth-focused Shazam movie before a myth-heavy WW movie & they probably took that route bc they couldn’t use Black Adam. Patty killing off the gods was a terrible move IMO

@TheRock It was the right thing to do! Shazam was silly and terrible! I didn’t take Black Adam Movie seriously until I saw the trailer and the Rock brake down of the movie! I can see where he wants to take the Movie/ Character and I agree with him.

@6TallMidgets The problem is, most of Shazam's villains are deep pulls. I don't think that's a valid excuse. Plus, the Daughters of Atlas are mythology based and Shazam's powers are based around mythological figures.
