@sonuverse Yes absolutely! This is one of the biggest issues I have with Shazam, the kid acts more grown up than Levi!! I never understood that and it just kinda annoyed me. I get they wanted to make it a kids movie but this is still a massive swing and a miss for me.

@degeneracy_gov @TheQuiver_ That's the problem. If we wanted useful over fun you can make a team of Superman, Shazam, MM, Zatanna and Raven and they would be undefeatable. it would be however very boring to read because the team isn't dynamic whatsoever (3 powerhouses and 2 mages).

@Massive_Peace My biggest problem with the first Shazam is the fact that Billy was barely the hero. Sure he fought the big bad, but it should've been him and him alone against the villain and his random minions. Show us that he can be a solo hero. The family should've been saved for the sequel.

New Champion of Shazam #3 was fine. Art was great, but the book itself felt very wordy. That really held the book back, in my opinion. Hopefully the final issue sticks the landing.

Shazam was protective over the younger heroes. He would step in front of ‘younger’ heroes whenever their mission goes wrong. How he would deflect blame to himself whenever they got into trouble. How he would only raise his voice once, at the adults that yelled at them.
