    @DComicTalks @LifeMi1987 Shazam! came off the heels of the JL'17 debacle. DC was in shambles. It was about positioning. Rock and Dany wanted nothing to do with Shazam. They wanted Cavill in Black Adam. Cavill's agents sided with Rock as they turned down Shazam. Bad blood ensued with the studio/Emmerich.

    @Billy_batshed Otherwise idk how high id rate it for Freddy, i think it was very fun to have kon interact with someone his age and theyre very fun together i wish i got to see them more often... but im very interested in what your reaction to the issue would be as a shazam fan

    @empatheticcain It wasn’t a rights issue. DC could always call Billy Captain marvel and even did so several times in alternate universes when his name was “Shazam” They just couldn’t call his comics “Captain marvel” and Geoff Johns decided to change the name in the New 52.

    It's on you if you can't see it, the song is literally #2 on Shazam Global, radios keeps refusing to play it, the streams are going down instead of up, the views on YT are also going down. Anyway those are just soundtrack songs so idc that much overall if they don't do it

    @Updates4DC He turned down playing Superman in shazam and didn't want to appear in any studio projects until they basically guaranteed him a superman movie which he never got. Zack Synder left WB Henry Cavil rejected the offer to play superman. Jason Mamoa said he rather be Lobo.

    Shazam Founder @Inghelbrecht says Shazam should never have existed. To build the company in 2000, the team had to digitize one of the world’s largest music libraries before streaming existed. They had to invent music recognition technology from scratch and physically build the computing infrastructure needed to run it before companies like Google Cloud and AWS were around. They also had to convince mobile carriers to support a product category nobody had ever seen before. Inghelbrecht says even if each of those problems only had a 10% chance of working, the odds of Shazam surviving were practically zero.

    @ihatemeen_ with shazam and wonder woman alone they could stall long enough so barry could get bruce to where he keeps his kryptonite and grab some for himself to keep him down, and thats not assuming the rest of the league doesn't just outright win.

    (some ppl dogged on that shazam issue but it makes sense to me somehow sorry.. what jon needs the most after his age up trauma is learning how to adapt and not keep things to himself otherwise he'll always be a kid in his head, he needs to eventually grow up)

    Shazam might be the only app that solves an actual problem people ever developed but Instagram allowing you to add music to your Spotify liked songs without switching apps is right up there too
