My company has taken us off Skype and switched us to @Microsoft teams full time. I am at about 25% on response rate because nobody knows when I have sent them an DM. Microsoft fix this please. We are all remote and nobody knows I'm talking to them. ARGH

I've found the button where you actually, properly close Skype so that it doesn't magically open itself back up again, and Skype has responded by starting to freeze entirely so I can't shut it down at all. 1-0 to them tbh

@nagirrock @FishChips1 I had an hour long Skype with @fishchips1 about this issue and I#can safely say that “balanced” is being used instead of “agreeing with my way”. It’s expected in an emotive issue that when people disagree, the easiest rebuttal is accusation of bias, rather than debating evidence

We will be at the mercy of CNA staff to help her keep it charged. She was averse to learning anything technology for years. Only use case is being able to call her Facetime. Skype is too complicated with too many small ui elements. Hard of hearing lip reader.

@chuggaaconroy As a Yugioh player I can sympathize with this. We have remote play, which you basically use Skype to show your board and there are official tournaments that way, along with unofficial ones on simulators, so we know what’s broken and thus expensive that way. But yeah, that sucks.

@teddyschleifer @AlxThomp Meg Whitman? The quibi says were like, yesterday, and she’s a terrible business person - ruined HP, was lame at Quibi, and just coincidentally lucky at the helm of eBay. Oh and eBay buying Skype. HP buying autonomy, buying loudcloud... yech. Just bad.

@hahcheupriv i dunno how much control he has but you guys can maybe try tjings like skype, i doubt she used that frequently enough for her ex to have tjat password. and if you want me to help you communicate with her once don't hesitate, i have 2 accs so i can completely get blocked on one
