Can’t believe someone is using this cafe for Skype- the WiFi is throttled at 5 down, even less up. Just realized they are probably using purely cellular bandwidth on their iPad.

@WomenOfDnD @roll20app DnD has been one of my main social interaction this year. We just use a free video call service called Jitsi. Haven't really missed the visuals that much and if on occasion we want to share an image we've just used Skype or email.

@olafdoesstuff @Ianblackford_MP There's that whole "land border" issue that Scotland doesn't have, unless it's in Skype? Then there were all of those people who were "shafted" when they were shot or blown up in the Troubles. It isn't always about you, precious.

@Husaria Not sure what the issue is but the console freezes during a game > crashes > then I need to reboot. I noticed it started happening when I’m using voice chat or Skype during a game so I thought it was a RAM issue now it just happens even if I’m not using them and just the game.

@ergo_praxis @Angry_Cassie I taught "Down Girl" in the most recent feminist philosophy course I had. She was supposed to Skype in with us on the last day of class, but got sick. We've gone over a lot of ideas together too. I think she's the best.

@cl_gamble @minirmorgan @p0ppyfield Yeah, I get it. Actually there is a private service that'll do you an online skype chat and comprehensive diagnosis for about £300, if you have it, but it's not an option I've been able to take yet. I read about it on SallyCat's PDA page on Facebook.

@elamin88 (Oh, I'm carrying a beard comb with me a lot more frequently now though - to fix up the mess a bit after I take off my mask. I'm single and live alone though (and I can work from home), and Zoom/Teams/Skype hides a lot of the mess that normally I'd need more effort to address.)
