But if a stream is botted to look like it has 1000 viewers instead of 2, then that magically makes it a higher quality stream? No it doesn't, so that logic fails.

All streamers will most likely get ads now and you can be "supported" via subs and bits but you can't actually access that money without affiliate. no payouts means it's just tokens

I was not notified of a change or and update to my account nor have i seen any login attempts that were not my own, so what the hell happened and why was I just flat out not notified of ANYTHING????

JoeyNGaming Everywhere (@JoeyNGaming) reported@TwitchSupport The problem with this is that it now becomes harder to tell if someobe is affiliate or not unless they are below the required follower count, which makes affiliates feel the same as them. It would be nice if affiliates had a badge to stand out.

So when we were able to do it, it was like..... monster every ad, then it'd go dark for months bc no companies picked it up. I'm definitely with you on the core of it, but it'd have to actually work.

CeruleDraconis | Water Dragon (💧🐉) (@CeruleDraconis) reported@TwitchSupport an additional thought i wish to add on is with the requirements to reach affiliate being to; -reach 25 followers -stream for 4 hours -stream on for different days -reach an avarage of 3 viewers on 4 different days i feel as though it was a very possible goal that was by no means impossible and helped build up good streaming habits that help promote a creator to grow🫤
