DaxRazorUnplugged (@daxrazorlive) reported@TwitchSupport @djclancy999 The problem is you provide a free service to anyone to generate digital billboards in order to bill Advertisers based on the "impressions" metric and compensate the creators based on eyeball retentions, including a completely inverted compensation/reward model. So people game the system. You act surprised. Change the business model and you fix the problem.

However, I have an unrelated question. Why is it that affiliates aren’t owed the same assistance as partners when it comes to changing a username? If an account has been inactive for 12 years, I strongly encourage there to be a fair chance to request their username if user is inactive, unable to login, or a bot account. Ai would not be able to help here and we’d require human customer support— but I don’t see why we couldn’t fill out a form and shoot our shot at a name change like the partners get. Thx

Start making it too costly for them to operate. As long as there is a profit to be made you are going to keep having the viewbot issue. If you take away the profit, they go for easier money.
