I'll be taking part in #ADayOffTwitch but I will not be pushing for off site subscriptions throughout September. I rely on my twitch income to help me pay my bills and I can't risk the drop. Moving people to another platform is hard and only the most dedicated viewers do it.

Bots are always a problem with @Twitch. If someone made a redeem for lurkers to just chime in so we know they aren't a bot, would that be upsetting to lurkers? I don't want to just make someone attract unwanted attention, but man I sure would love to know they aren't a bot.

@negaoryx @Twitch Had very low expectations, still got disappointed. They clearly need to clean up management and work transparently to make the site safe for marginalised creators. Had there been a viable alternative to twitch I think a lot of people would leave as it is now.

@fishbully_ But what prevents more accounts from being produced is my point. Like really it’s an problem with no true solution. You can mass ban but people can reproduce them rapidly using scripts. I do think twitch could do better but I don’t think there’s ever a true solution

@negaoryx @Twitch The management just treat it as a cash cow. Its a tragedy how so many streamers struggle to get exposure. The management could help with that if they wanted to, they have the wisdom but not the inclination or motivation because they get their cash no matter what.

If anyone has hoss00312 or any variation of the name follow you, ban them immediately. Do not click on their name to inspect the profile cause apparently some people’s up addresses have been stolen that way, and the account is linked to all the hate raids. Fix your **** @Twitch

@saorastreaming @ajsarsfield @RoxyBain My main criticisms are. 1. People saying it'll help you "blow up" on Twitch 2. Their choice in Partners 3. The app rewards S4S 4. It's all other creators, so how are you gaining an audience? 5. The app is terrible. I blocked 2 people and still see their posts on my timeline

@nicholasdeorio The walk out is actually stupid, Twitch is 100% working on a fix. Coding is hard, takes time and people need to understand that. Especially these kinds of spams are hard to fix because there serious is now way other than just removing chat or the creators taking time to words.
