Nesters Kovalkovs (@nestersk) reportedNot cool, @TwitchSupport. Silently failing to send phone verification when I apparently have another Twitch account with the same phone number wasted so much time. I went through the flow: 1. Log into my Twitch account I used for some livestreams 2. Try to create an API key 3. It tells me I need 2FA 4. The 2FA setup requires phone verification, but I don't receive any messages. No error either. 5. Then I realized my phone number field is empty (although 2FA verification required me to enter one so I assumed it was the same thing) 6. Adding a phone number separetely finally tells me I have another account with this phone number. That I should enable 'multiple accounts with the same number' feature in the original account 7. I do that. 8. Go back to the account I wanted to use, and I don't receive any messages, when trying to add my number again. No error about number sharing though. I assume I'm simply locked out of receiving SMS messages due to 'spam'. I'd prefer to use separate accounts for personal and 'business' use.
