It has been 1 year since I got suspended on @Twitch. Got Prime botted for about a week or more, and they indefinitely suspended me for that. I didn’t contact @TwitchSupport during that time since I was naive and thought my channel was actually growing since I had real chatters and viewers while playing, but turns out that could have been fake too when everyone seemed real. I explained it to them multiple times how I believe I was targeted for this since I know some people who don’t like me personally, but they don’t listen to my appeal and I just get a bot response. I’ve appealed 3 times now, but they don’t seem to care. I’ve grown as a creator on YouTube and now I want to be able to stream again on Twitch since I miss it… but it looks like that won’t ever happen again due to Twitch support not giving me another chance or even listening to my appeal. If anyone knows how to get their attention directly, please help me with that or tag them because I really miss streaming to the viewers that I had and interacting with them. 😭 #twitch @djclancy999

@tiktok_us how come u guys think its totally okay for someone to imporsonate, talk to someone, and then send them to the real person to @Twitch stealing their clips posting from twitch and you wont do anything about. if this was @TwitchSupport at least they would help out

@TwitchSupport Normally I dont speak about this but why not give channel points to new streamers... Make them work to become affiliate not just grant them access to pandora's box without any effort to grow.

@ChronicMayhem12 @TwitchSupport Affiliate achievements were to create a buffer to prevent fraud. They always wanted people earning earlier. Why would they want a bunch of people streaming and using resources without money coming in? Still have to prevent fraud, thus the affiliate requirement remains.

@TwitchSupport Casual L twitch the affiliate requirements were already far too low now there’s not even a point anymore besides being able to earn money rather then having just a twitch balance how about you guys fix the actual problems first such as a VIEWER COUNT which would also help people reach affiliate easier because you guys then don’t **** on lurkers

  • JoeyNGaming
    JoeyNGaming Everywhere (@JoeyNGaming) reported

@TwitchSupport The problem with this is that it now becomes harder to tell if someobe is affiliate or not unless they are below the required follower count, which makes affiliates feel the same as them. It would be nice if affiliates had a badge to stand out.

@TwitchSupport All that hard work for nothing you better give already affiliates some kind of specialized tag or even some money or something… atleast $5 an hour for streamer be better than kick

@SicShotsNW @TwitchSupport Apparently that's a thing. I knew 1 or 2 subs *could* kick one off as well as higher chat activity but didn't realise a streamer gifting a (multi-month) sub in their own channel would do it P.S. Your linktree in your bio doesn't work 💛

  • ConductorSavy

@HermesVtuber @TwitchSupport No, you skipped over the whole concern and inserted a question I never asked. I wasn’t asking what will happen, I was asking what the creator can do when there is no way for the, to prove it wasn’t them. There is no way a creator can prove it isn’t them doing the viewbotting. If someone in their community or a malicious user view bots them, it hurts the creator when the creator did nothing to warrant the enforcement. It doesn’t help the creator be able to prove it wasn’t them because the traffic still went to their channel. The way this is worded is the creator is ****** either way regardless of the source of the viewbotting, and this is what has me worried when it’s someone out of their control especially. It will hurt creators, because the viewbots can and have been weaponized in the past to hurt channels.

@TwitchSupport So why did I bother grinding my arse off for this if you are now just handing them out to anyone.... 🙄🤦 xbox with massive dubs in 2026 and twitch just handing the L's out to us that had to work for it.... Cheers!

@TwitchSupport what status do I need to get a reply from support about my improper ban due to being mass reported by groypers? please hire actual people to help with support

@TwitchSupport It feels like this cheapens the effort and grind of getting affiliate. Affiliate was a reward for hard work. If everyone's an affiliate status then what's the point of having the status anymore?

  • vVvFrankie
    CF | TrainerFrankie (@vVvFrankie) reported

@TwitchSupport @WolfosUntamed There is no path anymore really to help build the community of affiliates on the site, and there is no point in grinding for affiliate or partner if you keep sharing their rewards or tools with everyone lol

  • KisaiTenshi
    KisaiTenshi🎀👼🐱 (@KisaiTenshi) reported

@Joysulem @TwitchSupport Doesn't work because you can buy phone numbers from VoIP services. The only reliable way to prevent viewbotting is to make the entire site require the authenticator even to register as a viewer.

@TwitchSupport How about you fix your discovery first? That way those of us that refuse to viewbot aren't getting quashed by everyone else who is. The onboarding process is also terrible. Our federal government is ***, so if I have to wait for some BS in the mail to get some info updated, and it's on that level, I think you guys are asking too much for chump change. Lowkey the only reason Twitch hasn't failed entirely is because of Amazon throwing money into it like a lemon car.
