    @OrdinaryGamers how about you know...giving streamers TOOLS to deal with the problem? if the spam ignores r9k, they could have a mode that forces basic unicode (a-z/A-Z only) which would stop spam trying to dodge r9k alas I don't work for Twitch

    @MultimediaJay @zachbussey Because people do the bare minimum and always need a quick fix or a one stop shop. Do I believe Twitch needs to do better to protect it's creators? Yes, but it is not difficult to find these existing tools if you do some poking around.

    There’s a lot of talk about how to combat hate raids on #twitch and how to make #TwitchDoBetter. Here’s an idea: a choice to set languages for chat, which affects encoding, forcing alternative characters to not be rendered. Is that even possible? Would it work? 🤔🤔

    @TwitchSupport Is there an issue with some of your servers? There are several streams I can't seem to access (Error #2000). Does not appear to be any internet issues on my end and have done the usual tips (e.g. restart router, tried different browsers...etc.)

    Only Twitch would send an email about which "tools" to use to help keep us from getting hate-raided two days after they had a DIP in engagement when many of us took a day off from Twitch due to these hate-raids that Twitch refused to acknowledge and get rid of for months 💀
