    @TwitchSupport Not only are the measures taken proven to be ineffective but small - medium size channels that do NOT bot, are usually the most affected. Would still like a fix for counting lurkers as viewers 👉👈 We have proven our channels have been hurt but no solution to this since it was enacted last year, Twitch has always said lurkers are the backbone but the actions don’t align with that at all😞

    Hello @TwitchSupport , I have been streaming on @Twitch for over five years, consistently growing my community in accordance with platform guidelines and avoiding any violations of the Terms of Service. I have also had the opportunity to compete in multiple @TwitchRivals tournaments. I would like to clarify that I do not condone any form of fraudulent activity, nor do I promote or teach such behavior to others. I have never engaged in these actions, and I am fully willing to cooperate by providing any information necessary to demonstrate my compliance. In the past, I proactively contacted Twitch Support regarding malicious users targeting my channel through fraudulent bits and Prime subscriptions. As an individual creator, I do not have the ability to prevent such actions directly. I was advised that the issue would be addressed, but unfortunately, the activity persisted and ultimately resulted in my channel being suspended. I want to emphasize that I neither wanted nor relied on any revenue generated through these fraudulent means, and I fully support the removal of those funds. My primary concern is regaining access to my channel "Zayola", as I have always acted in good faith and would never knowingly violate the platform’s Terms of Service please look into this.

    @TwitchSupport ExtraEmily was compelled to viewbot and now clancy thinks it's a problem. Can't have the figure head of twitch viewbotting or feeling the need to do so.

    @TwitchSupport Seem like a rule to help bad actors,a rule to say they did something in relation to the problem but will be enforce unfairly as they already do. Instead of banning clear botter they made it an oppurtunity for viewers and streamers to bot others to limit view counts

    @vengent @TwitchSupport just report the issue immediately. if you don't report it its deliberate

    @TwitchSupport Serious question, what if someone goes viral and it’s all organic? The way this is worded will make it seem like the low stay low and the high stay high If this is the case you will kill your platform as new people won’t be discovered and the guys you keep top will lose interest over time, look at ninja. He used to be your biggest star and now he’s nowhere near (he is still a big streamer by every metric) Is there going to be a way for people to be discovered easier @djclancy999? A lot of your recent statements have been “get big elsewhere and we will reap the rewards” look at your clipper badges If you fix the bullshit kingmaker system then maybe… Just maybe people will be less likely to viewbot as they feel like they need those extra 50 views to be seen in your system “But our biggest streamers won’t be seen!” That’s a load of rubbish if people with 100k+ following don’t get people into their streams without being boosted by the platform then that speaks buckets about the platform

    @kaitarcher @TwitchSupport Won't work then ill just buy bots for your account and you get named and shamed, it will get abused by people to get people they don't like they'll need to change things up more to disincentivize it rather than naming and shaming

    @TwitchCon @Twitch @TwitchSupport how do i fix this??

  • JustRobPlays
    Rob (@JustRobPlays) reported

    @TwitchSupport If the new system is “based on historical data” how does that work when 80% of Twitch’s top streamers have been accused of viewbotting or getting botted for years? This just rewards the biggest cheaters... Fix discovery/ranking instead. Also, fire Dan Clancy @TwitchSupport

  • WWEdeadman
    WWEdeadman 🌐 (@WWEdeadman) reported

    @TwitchSupport Ah yes, a policy where consistently botting a channel you hate makes that channel lose revenue and growth. I'm sure there won't be any problems with that at all... [/sarcasm]

  • Khalil_Akagi
    Khalil Akagi (@Khalil_Akagi) reported

    @TwitchSupport You've crucified this platform because you failed to keep the TOS and hold everyone accountable. Why ******** should anyone believe anything a clown such as yourself has to say? Even with a 50/50 cut you still aren't profitable. Maybe if you did hold your top streamers that has brought controversy to your site. You're worried about viewbotting now because you know your *** is on the chopping block and you expect some form of grace to save you from your bullshit. There are more than enough times you and your retarded moderation team had to fix this and make twitch better than ever. But you chose to have a brown nose instead. Have fun with that. **** you, Clancy.
