Instead of worrying about removing and adding ****. How about Twitch starts getting their act right and fix the issues on your platform? @TwitchSupport

@TwitchSupport Casual L twitch the affiliate requirements were already far too low now there’s not even a point anymore besides being able to earn money rather then having just a twitch balance how about you guys fix the actual problems first such as a VIEWER COUNT which would also help people reach affiliate easier because you guys then don’t **** on lurkers

  • ItsLionspear
    ItsLionspear (@ItsLionspear) reported

@TwitchSupport You don't get the payout unless you're affiliate, so they've given more tools to entertain your community to help it grow. If you're getting subs but don't have the stats to make affiliate, then you wouldn't be affiliate anyway and just have less fun stuff. No one is ever happy.

@TwitchSupport Like if you were transparent and said "hey this money is only spendable on twitch" this wouldn't be an issue but every ******* time you brainlets release a feature you're always hiding some slimy **** and not disclosing it.

@TwitchSupport Yeah, no. This isn’t right. We had to work to get affiliate and now it’s just being handed out from day one? Y’all need to revert that change IMMEDIATELY. First y’all change partner requirements and now this? Nah.

@TwitchSupport So, since a lot of people are telling me to get a real job and not understanding the point, btw, I have a full time job and taking a look at my Twitch channel you can see I have not stream since December so joke is on you, I will explain better. The reason I am upset is because non-affiliates only have a spendable account which means they can’t touch the money or use it outside of Twitch. This is a problem because they still have to file taxes on it because they did the onboarding. This means you have to pay taxes on something you can’t use to help pay those taxes. I was a big supporter on non-affiliates being able to have emotes, badges but make them like follower badges, and channel points, hell I pushed for that since 2016, but for them to have subs and bits hurts non-affiliates until they are affiliates. Plus, Twitch has this thing where if you do not use or get a payout within two years of getting said balance, they take the money. Yes, I could have worded this better originally, I was just tired and running with a migraine. I am human after all.

@TwitchSupport @Twitch @djclancy999 please help me get my account back and manually review my appeals please. I am tired of the bot responses.

@Tristi_Mp4 @TwitchSupport The problem is discoverability. Giving every 2 viewer stream instant rewards doesn’t suddenly create audiences.

@sturdtv @TwitchSupport No, they still have a lot of perks and benefits of being a partner. I have a friend that is a partner who is mad, in their words, "Had everything stolen from them." I at less see that we have the payout. My other problem is, Twitch list this as helping non-affiliate get to affiliate but for some that goal isn't going to still be easy because they have fancy things now. Some are also going to set here and go "Oh, I'm not going to use this money until I get to affiliate." Two and half years later they finally make affiliate and going to get their pay out but suddenly they don't have the pay out they though because after 2 years of not getting a pay out Twitch is like "Oh, this is my money now" and takes it from them. This is the problems I see.

@TwitchSupport Are you trying to push streamers off your platform? You do know there is a way to prevent bots from making an account to begin with. Not only that but can also Prevent, not help stop or potentially help but 100% Stop further veiw botting from happening in the future.

@TwitchSupport While I agree with having channel points from day 1 could be quite amusing along with follower emotes, I think everything else with money involved should still be something to work on to.

@KEYATTRON @TwitchSupport With the right strat you can do it now in around 1-2 weeks. And you don't need to be actually streaming. You can do it passive while you work or clean you place. Friend wanted to try it and I told him how to. He needed 8 days. His first actuall stream, he already was affiliate.

  • Calcifurious
    Calcifer (@Calcifurious) reported

@TwitchSupport This just screams scammy. You know no one wants to keep their money on twitch. This is basically twitch double dipping when people think they are supporting a streamer in reality the only one benefiting from this is twitch while they pretend it's to help everyone.
