@XTBUK "77% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider." You would have to be incredibly arrogant and stupid to "invest" in this nonsense!

GBPUSD has found support around $1.3260 after today’s sell off. However, Gilt yields continue to sell off. The 10 year is now down 7 bps. The bond market is telling us that the UK economy needs help. This could limit GBP space for recovery. @XTBUK

  • KATHLEENBROOKS
    kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reported

Yields were lower, but are now starting to rise in Europe. Gold is up $40, but is not back at record highs. Oil is up 7%, and may have broken into a new range around $75 per barrel. Again, not great, but it may only have a limited impact on inflation. @XTBUK

🗣Jose Mourinho: “When you sign a player, it isn’t just their data but their mentality, their support system, their work ethic. When players make a step to a big club, they need to have the mentality to take on the pressure and the expectation and deliver." [via @XTBUK] #COYS

  • KATHLEENBROOKS

A tale of 2 tech stocks: - meta’s shares up 8% in the pre market, Microsoft shares are down more than 6%. Meta has the ad revenue to pay for its AI ambitions. Microsoft’s early ai adoption is not powering earnings by enough, that’s why it’s getting punished. @XTBUK

The AI trade is not slowing down. - Nvidia up 2.4% after moving into AI chips for PCs - micron extending gains, up 4% in pre market. - likewise, sandisk up 4%. These names can drive US indices to fresh records today if gains are maintained. @XTBUK

  • KATHLEENBROOKS
    kathleen brooks (@KATHLEENBROOKS) reported

There’s not much for bond investors to like about the UK’s fiscal policy right now. Which is a problem, since we’re reliant on them to find our growing national debt. @XTBUK

@VladimrB3 @xtbpl Brother, but i can't find something better or similar. If we ignore technical problems, they have the best conditions - 0% fees on GPW, IKE and most etfs, stocks etc.

If there was going to be a catalyst to disrupt the risk rally this week, I think it would have been a sell off in bonds. This hasn’t happened, which suggests that a structurally lower dollar for the long term is not a problem for markets right now. @XTBUK
