@ThreeUK Not on Three but it would not work I turned all emergency alerts off on all devices. Invasive nonsense as was all the Covid vaccination texts

Three network signal is rubbish. They’ve been told how our phone lines sometimes doesn’t connect and sometimes it’s sounds like the connection is abroad and nobody can get through. Let this alert be a wake up call and step up with your signals!! @ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport

@LinkofHyrule89 The UK had it's first test of its emergency alert system that uses cell broadcast to reach all 4G and 5G mobile devices. Sadly it seems a significant number of people on @ThreeUK did not receive the test, including me

@julie_bee @ThreeUK Can't find the article now, but in short. I think the point is that these messages are "pull only". For SMSs phones send read receipts back. Which would overwhelm the system. Emergency messages sit on the tower, and phones poll.

@JIX5A @ThreeUK Talk about making a crisis out of a drama. It was a test and intended to reveal flaws. It revealed flaws, so the test worked. Can't imagine what you'd be like in a real emergency.

@MartinSLewis @ThreeUKSupport @ThreeUK we have 4 contracts with 3. None of the phones got the alert. They’re all on current IOS & Android. I have friends with SMARTY mobile on the 3 network and they never got an alert. Is it a 3 problem or government problem? Now Bring on the blame game.

@aptanet @TallestTim @ThreeUK Hi, we understand that some customers didn't receive the Emergency Alerts test message as anticipated, but don't worry, this was just a test to identify issues such as this, we're working with government agencies to guarantee the system works in the future.- Jim
