@ThreeUKSupport Great help. Can’t even do that correctly. What a shambles of a company

  • c_dave C Dave (@c_dave) reported

@julie_bee @ThreeUK Can't find the article now, but in short. I think the point is that these messages are "pull only". For SMSs phones send read receipts back. Which would overwhelm the system. Emergency messages sit on the tower, and phones poll.

@odd_biscuits @VioletLeopard84 @ThreeUK Hi, we understand that some customers didn't receive the Emergency Alerts test message as anticipated, but don't worry, this was just a test to identify issues such as this, we're working with government agencies to guarantee the system works in the future.- Jim

  • OrchardMan58 Mike Collier (@OrchardMan58) reported

I've had so much grief and bad advice from @ThreeUK that I've given up and moved to @O2 I'm hoping they'll be better. To be honest, they couldn't be any worse. #hereshoping #betterdaysahead #anythingbutthree

The Three @ThreeUK is one network which was not included it seems. #emergencyalert

@ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport What happens in the Emergency Alert scenario if you cannot connect with a cellular network so are using fallback to Wi-Fi Calling? Is there a mechanism to include such users in the Emergency Alert because that is certainly the situation for me on a regular basis.

  • Bkasparas Bernard Kasparas (@Bkasparas) reported

@ThreeUK @neil_paris Correct. I am on your network. Not received in KT10 xxx postcode. Might be because phone is set to 3G only in which case every older UK phone will be #offgrid for these warnings. #Alert #Test @ukhomeoffice

  • SalehElmasri Saleh Elmasri (@SalehElmasri) reported

@ThreeUKSupport trying to get hold of anybody on customer service but can’t because your system doesn’t give the option. I am abroad and stuck without any internet. Urgent help!

  • mjclarke__ mjc. (@mjclarke__) reported
