Over the last 2 days I’ve dealt with the customer service teams at 3 telecoms companies. @VodafoneUK @virginmedia & @ThreeUKSupport They were all utterly awful experiences involving being transferred multiple times, put on hold for ages, and at times ignored & lied to

@ThreeUKSupport When you call the customer support line, 0333 3381034 there is a message saying you cannot respond due to the pandemic. Totally lame excuse. Pretty much sums up the appalling service I’m currently receiving

@ThreeUKSupport I have had made numerous complaints over the years about dropping coverage and the failure of Three to inform customers of repairs and upgrades to the network that affect coverage, leaving customers (me in this case) with no connection and a bill to pay for little in return.

@ThreeUK I was given a free cancellation reference by the network issue department because I wasn't getting the service I am paying for and your technical people couldn't repair the fault. I called this morning to cancel my contract and was told to wait till 4th Nov. Why??

Reported Three to ofcom for not providing me with the service I paid for, and for trying to charge me money whist 604MB of data were remaining in the account. I had explained to them and they'd rather money over actually cleaning up their dumbster and no excuse. #ThreeUK

@john_actuary @rmappleby @ThreeUK Plusnet is cheap and very good - 15gb for £10, one month contract and free roaming (not sure if it's worldwide, but certainly Europe). And it's on EE network so pretty good coverage. But they do screw you if you go over data limit.

@john_actuary @ThreeUK Three are terrible for this. They’ll then offer you another deal online that is “a really truly excellent deal” that is more expensive than anything you find online
