Two days later, I made a second call to @ThreeUK via RelayUK to request a refund for service I’d paid for but didn’t realise I was owed. Despite asking to be transferred to billing right away, it took over 30 minutes to process this simple refund.

@ThreeUKSupport Hello, The date the new handset and sim arrived, 30/5/2024, i rang action fraud, got a fraud crime number, then rang your fraud department to report the issue. I then rang to complain about still being charged for the handset and sim around the 13th of may, I was told i would

@rsmck @ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport Am I seeing that correctly that they are using the regular number ending 1001 (or is that you calling them)? That can so easily be spoofed. Clearly their verification processes (and support in general!) support needs improving

@RachT234 @ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport Yep, regular number (which clearly isn't on the Ofcom DNO list!) and can be easily spoofed. Interestingly calling that number BACK leads to someone who can't talk about complaints. Terrible process.

  • RachT234 RachT234 (@RachT234) reported

@ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport offered a £50 goodwill gesture after my complaint — which I appreciate. But a payment can’t undo the distress, wasted time, or the poor training and lack of understanding staff showed. This is about accountability and making sure this doesn’t happen to others.

  • rsmck Ross Henderson-McKillop  (@rsmck) reported

@ThreeUKSupport Thanks for the confirmation. Unfortunately your verification policies are terrible. You won't confirm any information (in my case I asked for two digits from my account number, so not personal data in any way, and confirmed the last four myself) so it's impossible to verify you

@iona11011 @ThreeUK Hi there Rebecca. Sorry to hear that. Have you tried a network reset? - Keiran

  • revkes Kes Grant 🌈 (@revkes) reported

@ThreeUK Can you tell me what is happening with voice calls please? Myself and my partner have had no service for 5 days. This is getting ridiculous.

  • rsmck Ross Henderson-McKillop  (@rsmck) reported

@ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport can you please confirm if 0800 033 8019 is a valid number for your customer complaints team?
