Chris Woods (@christopherw) reported@ThreeUKSupport Manually issuing MMI codes from dialer initially seems to work - "Call forwarding registration was successful" - but checking the menu it actually shows the 3UK voicemail number which is wrong. Phone menu shows an error for "Always forward" option and "Network or SIM card error."

Chris Woods (@christopherw) reported@ThreeUKSupport Hello, exactly that. I was setting up a temp divert to another number while reinstalling my phone. Previously I've been able to do this. Phone is a Sony Xperia 1 III, but this is a standard network feature? It shows greyed out in the phone's SIM menu when it queries the network.
