Adulting department, successful. Cancelled an email account from an old ISP that I hadn’t been on in (several? Many?) years. Sorry to those 20k plus emails that are never getting read. Goes to the graveyard in the ether, along with my AOL account.

@Renew_Democracy Social media for kids in general is a terrible idea. I'm a child of the Internet. Was on AOL chat rooms etc by 13. I can't even begin on the amount of **** I've seen, come close to, dodged, etc. My first webstalker was when I was 14. I'm now 35. Kids. Do not. Need. Social media.

  • mastrap84 Sam (@mastrap84) reported

I know I look younger than I am but I don’t think you guys realize my first computer took 5-10 minutes to load even 1 AOL page. I’m like a poor man’s Tom cruise I’ll look young forever.

  • CurtAmbrose 🦇 Warlock 🦇 (@CurtAmbrose) reported

I was more professional than this in 1998 when 18 year old me literally wrote an AOL wrestling zine as a heel like Vic Venom. I never approached talents for interviews in character. Probably how I got interviews with Kanyon and Chris Candido. You know, by not being a ****.

  • SimplyPaul Paul Smith (@SimplyPaul) reported

@jenstirrup It's all AOL, which is TalkTalk now. **** 'em. I've had years of spam phonecalls thanks to them.

  • DoctorOcto David Edelman (@DoctorOcto) reported from San Diego, California

@pearl_goldman Yes—but the free AOL service that comes with the Microsoft microchips makes it totally worth it. 😜

Really can't help but think of Coinbase listing being a top for Crypto hype just as Time Warner/AOL merger was a top for dot-com bubble in March 2000..
