Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • LobsterWayne Wayne Parry’s Lobster (@LobsterWayne) reported

    @emptywheel @jamiesaker Elmo has achieved something noteworthy: AOL/Time Warner is no longer the worst business deal ever.

  • AltiMario ₳ltiMario (@AltiMario) reported

    @IOHK_Charles What a genius, right? How foolish was the previous management not to think about it? Facebook could do the same, why not? Oh no wait, there is a problem, anyone remembers AOL? ops!

  • MGiraldi Matthew Giraldi ::) 👺 (@MGiraldi) reported

    @StickToPizza Therein lies the crux of the issue really. If there's still a process of verification I think a fair amount of the pessimism subsides. If not though this website is gonna devolve into AOL chatrooms real quick-like. I wouldn't click one link I'd see on this website in that case

  • Spl00osh Splooosh! (@Spl00osh) reported

    @StephenKing You never had AOL?

  • Max404s Synapse Syndrome (@Max404s) reported

    @DataAngel IRC is actually still good if you are there just for tech channels (on Libera Chat network). All the non-tech people left a long time ago though of course, to AOL/MSN Messenger and all that came after.

  • Giz_the_Mogwai Gizmo (@Giz_the_Mogwai) reported

    @lunaxxloveless Don't know been rocking pop up blockers since I got off aol. I actually purchased a computer and received a damaged ssd in it and used imagevenue to host the pictures of the damage to show them, and they complained about porn pop ups, never knew the site had any lol.

  • VeteransforKari Veterans For Kari (@VeteransforKari) reported

    @KariLakeWarRoom @katiehobbs To be fair, Katie Hobbs tweets using a 1995 Compaq presario with a 56k dial up modem using AOL as her service provider because she hasn't been to the office to update it yet

  • flamecrash3223 Joe Wiggins ☮️ 🌊 (@flamecrash3223) reported

    @LisaOverachieve AOL dial up and AOL says “you have mail.” I hope we never go back.

  • rktbrkr john clark (@rktbrkr) reported

    @emptywheel AOL charged for their service and Yahoo keeps trying to get me to pay for what has been free service. Elmo might screw the pooch here with the whole world watching him.More embarrassing than his pics squiring Gislaine Maxwell.

  • aishiterutokyo x - Dan Orlowitz (@aishiterutokyo) reported

    @sidmacleod @stopthatgirl7 Yeah but Sid, I know you're coming from a good place but it's just not the same as it was in 90s AOL chatrooms and IRC channels. ****'s grim.
