  • YardleyShooting

I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. If it doesn't work, they shouldn't take my money. @TalkTalk is a useless outfit too. I was called for months by fake Indian call centres after their data hack. My home internet sucks. @AOL @Ofcom

  • YardleyShooting

Utterly useless service from AOL/Yahoo/TalkTalk yet again following my complaint reference the breakdown/failure of their systems. So irritating when you pay for a service and don't get it. I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. @AOL

When it first arrived — and I made a blog there within the first two months of its public existence — @tumblr was the near perfect blogging platform. Then AOL destroyed it. Now it’s a horrible jail where I can’t get rid of this dumb screen. Thanks @automatic.

  • ahwpgapro
Alan Walker (@ahwpgapro) reported from Loughton, England

@aolmail I’ve been attempting to retrieve my wife’s AOL password for the past 10 or more emails with your supposed email support. Its merry go round getting nowhere. Please assist.

@AOLSupportHelp We have been going around in circles and the reason I’ve tweeted my issue is I can’t get anywhere because we’ve done all the security Q’s and still 0 - I need to speak with a human being.....

Hey @HeyHeyItsConrad I’m listening to ur pod w @EBischoff on @WWE invasion & I think the real path to go down would be if Turner bought WWF & Eric had that money to bring in WWF talent into WCW & do invasion or another storyline.Might, need to say AOL merger never happens either.

It’s 2026. You know you your Internet service sucks when you had a better Internet connection during the old AOL days. And it didn’t cost as much then, either.

@0xljki obviously there was demand for bandwidth in '99, most people or businesses had none (this is kinda binary and you had to lay pipes throughout the whole country) operationally, this was a high margin business - you lay the pipe once (expensive capex) & but then can AOL CDs to every households, with virtually no marginal cost for addtl customer. "compute buyers have high margins" - brother what have you been smoking. xAI (admittedly now a compute seller) is losing gazillions - maybe that's why they went from buying/producing compute to selling. OAI/ANT have no published financials but spoiler, they are losing billions per year 1/2

@Matt_Pinner 18 as never had a water bed or slept on one and never had an aol email address.

This will fail. MySpace was founded by ******* spammers with a stolen email list. I knew them personally. This is just the animated corpse of AOL and Yahoo trying to get a single cent out of what's left....pathetic
