@JoshWComeau I loved Homestead. Dialed up on AOL and built a stupid little website full of gifs and midi song covers for my friends.

  • DavidInFlalala Guitarish (@DavidInFlalala) reported

@stuartbuck1 No problem. Just run a cable from your car to your computer, and update it from the download available on AOL by the company that no longer maintains its own maps and whose transfer requires a serial port cable.

  • Thx4TrumpDNC Revolution Needed Yesterday (@Thx4TrumpDNC) reported

I miss the AOL days. When people actually TALKED to each other. Not sending LIKES and WAVES and endless EMOJIS, some of which you can't even understand WTF they are. They reacted more humanly. Let's bring that back.

  • Shola4Short Ishaq Apalando (@Shola4Short) reported

@Mirexshotz Aswrar! Nairaland's interface puts me off. It's too cluttered! I guess they make their money from ads for now & can't be bothered. I hope they won't die the AOL or Yahoo way eventually. It'd a broken Nigerian dream, like many others.

@IcedKnife It’s crazy how people who are already exposed to this space which is constantly evolving at an exponential rate, are literally sleeping on this **** sounding like the same boomers who were fudding the internet 20 years ago. Probably still using aol. Ngmi.

  • FlorianHeigl1 on error resume next (@FlorianHeigl1) reported

@johncutlefish This has always been, back in AOL days my coapprentice, another friend and i teamed up and set up a group date for a number of married cheating men. Even typing with 10 fingers and the other two reading it was v hard to keep up with the messages. My DMs will never be open.

@TheCryptoLark No Lark, you just mislead people constantly that 1MB slow runtimes, #Bitcoin Core has any value whatsoever. Imagine if AOL email client in 1999 hashed their global server with 1MB blocks ?? Nobody wants to buy #Core

  • RosaBorchert Rosa Borchert (@RosaBorchert) reported

@elonmusk What your problem is that you think your **** doesn’t STINK!!!! Bye, Bye Mr. Twitter owner. I hope it goes to mierda just like just like MySpace and AOL and you loose your *** with it.
