@VetisxArt I can't help but remember back when I was in my early teens in the day of AOL Chatrooms/AIM. I clearly advertised my age and would "cyber" from time to time. Looking back I cringe thinking of who I might've been sending pics to. At least the pics back then were 9 pixels lol.

  • PopCultureBits Poppy Poppins. (@PopCultureBits) reported

I remember hooking up with a guy from an AOL chat room…not like “hook up” by todays standards but meeting up with him - he took me to breakfast- picked me up from HIGH SCHOOL - he was in the army….these days I would NEVER. Don’t know WTF I was thinking - what a time #catfish

  • jen_ftw_ 🍟🍟🍟 (clearly specifying “parody”) (@jen_ftw_) reported

Oh **** no, I take that back. Baby’s FIRST spite was in 8th grade when the school said we couldn’t wear Billabong shirts bc they had the word “bong” so I made an email list on AOL and organized a Billabong Shirt Appreciation Day

  • liberovir Mark Frankham (@liberovir) reported

@desertrose1969 One here also. I think AOL email is a tad exclusive... It's not like they were the only service. Maybe change that to 'used Netscape internet browser'

  • dcbcherrygate Brad Bradders.Location:Living in a Failing State. (@dcbcherrygate) reported

@Philmoorhouse76 That and AOL. I had proper Internet back when it was really slow and simple #cix #amiga #unix

  • RedneckROffroad Thomas Post (@RedneckROffroad) reported

@BrightEyesAZ Never had myspace or AOL. 2pts, swish...

  • zhiheather codestitcher (@zhiheather) reported

@RickHunter7 AOL address? Really? Those of us who were there when the internet displayed in text only never stooped to that.

  • OrlaClancy Orla Nic Fhlannchaidh/Orla Clancy (@OrlaClancy) reported

@desertrose1969 Just 1: never had an AOL email address.

  • JoLesley3 Jo Lesley (@JoLesley3) reported

@LadyCBean1966 1 for me. No AOL here and I never got into MySpace
