I’ve seen rotary phones before, and I’ve even played around with a disconnected one at a family members house as a kid, but never used one in practice. Never had an AOL address, as AOL wasn’t really a thing here in Denmark. My first email provider was with the ISP Stofa.

@itslaureliza I'm 48 years old and a 1, because I've worked for ISPs at many levels and **** AOL from the get-go. Even in the days of dial-up, I could see they were a Bad Time (What we'd call Facebook vibes today)

@tabbiewolf No MySpace and no AOL, only because we had an amazing local ISP with domain webpage and e-mail services included. I've played with a typewriter before, but never actually used it to produce anything.

@16bitnostalgia I never had an AOL address, that and I had my own website so I skipped out on the MySpace page.

@mmpadellan I really liked AOL, despite the fact that their software crashed 4(?) of my computers so bad that I had to buy new ones. I loved that they hosted my home page, which had hyperlinks to all my favorite posts and others' sites. When they stopped hosting home pages, it was just 💩.
