Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • DruryNikolas Nikolas Drury (@DruryNikolas) reported

@Malbanese1922 @BrandonThurston Biggest difference with WCW is that Turner owned the company and they were hemorrhaging money. Good ratings or not, the company was no longer profitable. AOL Time Warner execs also apparently hated wrestling and wanted it off their network. AEW can go somewhere else if cancelled.

  • SwitchSpeedster Memetendo (@SwitchSpeedster) reported

@Animated_Antic Beating AOL and Time Warner as the worst merge in WB's history

  • ENSpunks 🐄.🛸.👽 .ENSpunks.eth (@ENSpunks) reported

@financeguy74 @greyhame_eth AIM was that hold out that refused to die and even when they finally got rid of it people were upset. I think I went from prodigy online > AOL > IE > FireFox > chrome > I’m not telling bc it’s some web3 **** that trigger the bots

  • TheNPC33 Nick-Player Character (@TheNPC33) reported

Oh, yeah, remember the AOL/Time-Warner merger? Remember how much damage that did only to lose millions for everyone involved? It's like every time WB does a big capitalism, they set themselves on fire and everyone else has to suffer with them.

  • enrico_marquez Radec Marquis (@enrico_marquez) reported

@LegionHoops These 2 bozos are moron Comparing AOL with modern internet. AOL is an Internet Service Provider like Sprint etc. It still exists. I wouldn't have been lost in the discussion of these morons was comparing dialup internet over broadband

  • Varient3 Justin Majeczky (@Varient3) reported

@BigmoneyWeb3 @mundane_trevor People also said you could never beat AOL, MySpace, etc. all gone forever. First mover argument in technology is very ephemeral.

  • ultragare Ultra Gare (@ultragare) reported

When I was a kid I had like 20 AOL accounts at one point in time. I hex edited a “password stealer” and inserted my email address in place of the original developers and then I started distributing the virus to a bunch of people. I had peoples login info coming into my inbox

  • _babytrader_ Baby Trader xNFT (@_babytrader_) reported

@BollingerBeans It'll happen eventually! But you gotta bridge. Like go back further to AOL for the reverse argument. Everyone had a phone line and computers were rising, but the Internet was just BBSes and ****. AOL mailed you a way to have a good online experience. Then ppl were hooked

  • mcoorlim mcoorlim (@mcoorlim) reported

@OrionKidder AOL was the same, I think. And I remember having a separate service just for email - Juno. Might have also given basic Telnet (archie/gopher) access too, but "websites" were the last internet thing I got involved with.

  • monotonegent MonotoneGent (@monotonegent) reported

@DannyVegito If they were looking to out-stupid their time as AOL Time Warner they can stop now. There's no topping this
