@Animus_Diagolon Damn, does that thing take D batteries? Just kidding, my first pc was a commodore 64. Had a little tape deck. On a side note, there used to be these AOL CDs you could get that would give you a bunch of free hours online. No one in my neighborhood got theirs.

@TedHope As a wise friend told me long ago, even before AOL most likely, email’s great for staying on top of things, but it sucks at getting to the bottom of them. Still true.

Pie being weird alert: Does anyone my age remember how there was a certain slowing down/low computer ‘working’ ticking sound when an IM window in AOL was incoming but hadn’t popped up on the screen yet? Did anyone else develop a Pavlov’s Dog endorphin release response to that?
