    @Google requiring you to scan a QR code on your own phone to login is probably the least helpful technology in existence. Yes, it gives you “other options” though those rarely work without you doing it 5-6 times. They need to fix that or YMail or AOL is beginning to sound better.

    Something about $BSP: they bought AOL at a 5x income before tax, which is optically cheap right? The small issue is that they bought it from Apollo and imho there's zero chance Apollo got a bad deal

    @nmlinguaphile mapquest! The Hammacher Schlemmer of online maps and connectivity! Are they still accepting 1,000 hours free dial up cdrom from AOL? If I were in corporate meeting: Should we do this? Me: Nobody gives a ****. Do what you want. Let's ignore them so they can die in peace.

    @brockpierson Read a tech history of AOL and you might get a historical education of the internet service business and it's startup.

    @AbakpaJob You're right. AOL gave me access for free for a decade. Phone company didn't charge for the call or extra line. I never had a pop-up ad trying to sell me anything. DARPA didnt pay one government contractor.

    @dom_lucre Smart People Never Trust Media CNN Worthless since apx 2000 When Bannon Brokered Sale. Maybe better under Time Warmer but CEO gone soon after insane AOL buy I schooled older but very green Bannon on need 4 Conserv media at HBS along w Defense Free Riding & China Threat
