@RegularTweetsUK In 2000, TNT UK rebranded as TCM (now TCM Movies) and it became as a digital satellite-only channel when Sky closed down its analogue service in 2001, the same year that WCW was sold to WWE. The sale of WCW to WWE was made after AOL and Time Warner merged in 2000.

I used to work for AOL when it took over Compuserve. I was tech support/sales&saves. I miss those days. Joining up for that service did not have the bullshit rules social media has today. I'm not able to pay for Twitter for changing my profile picture. Validation Twitter says. BS

@Cletus9Iron @PWNYXPRES @MHver3 But that's the thing -- Big 12 has contracts with Fox and ESPN so that games against decent non-conference P5 teams get televised on a major network. Apple+/Amazon/AOL/Compuserve or whatever the PAC ends up on don't offer that.

@StormiFolf What the fu- I'm way younger than you and the only things on there that I haven't done is dial-up internet, I've never had an AOL email address nor sent/received a fax. I've used a rotary phone, used a floppy disc a few years ago, used a typewriter, everything but those 4 things
