AOL tech support - Yes AOL bought @Verizon Re: Oh really .. I don't think so Really VZW sold AOL assets to Apollo Global Management . PSA : AOL now deactivates accounts after 1 yr; so I would not recommend their service for legal business or business purposes in general.

@GreenRoc Yessss!!! My first online service was AOL, and that was oh, 2002. I used the dial-up disc they sent in the mail, lol!!

@Rengle820 I suspect that @meta wants to be the portal to basically everything, like AOL was in its early days. I think that's a bad thing, given FB's exploitive business model. I'd be OK with Google as the search engine. Search is of course a fundamental, critical function.

Had to kill my @gmail account because the amount of spam I could route to trash or junk was insane. Also, how did the @ get changed to AOL? Anyway, **** off google and your ****.

@dietz_meredith I would play several computer games that my dad forbid. I'd just delete them and redownload every time. Poor guy had no idea. And let's not even get into the AOL chatrooms 😱
