  • BitBuyByte BitFreedom 🦠🍆🟩 (@BitBuyByte) reported

@tracyalloway I agree with your 4 words "there's nothing stopping Bitcoin" It is a open source, decentralized, exponential technology. AOL didn't change and grow so it failed. Bitcoin will NOT change, so it will succeed! You are choosing poor analogies.

  • JenniLBurke Jenni with an I (@JenniLBurke) reported

@RachelMFleming @scottythered Or whatever crap search engine aol had. The one that was on the disc, haha.

  • AlansariB2 AlansariB (@AlansariB2) reported

@tracyalloway Bad analogy and shows a poor understanding of monetary network effects and open vs. closed networks. AOL was defeated by the open network. Bitcoin is the dominant monetary open network

  • LenNicholson *** Nicholson 💙 (@LenNicholson) reported

Anyone else started having problems with #AOL webmail on PC? Too many redirects on both Chrome and Firefox?

  • cryptosatoshi #Bitcoin ₿ (@cryptosatoshi) reported

@tracyalloway @jebus911 Lol, AOL was superseded by the internet protocol, which came before AOL so it was not newer or slicker. BTC is an open internet protocol, not a product. Understand this and will understand why a product will never replace bitcoin, the internet protocol.

  • iansltx Ian Littman (@iansltx) reported from Denver, Colorado

Verizon should have never bought Yahoo and AOL, but it's good to see them shed those and refocus. AT&T should have never bought Tim Warner, but it's good to see them soon both that and DTV off. T-Mobilr should have never bought Layer3 TV. Etc.

  • CNschedules CN News/Schedules (@CNschedules) reported

Really seems like internet and cellular providers merging with entertainment companies has proven to be a bad idea. Stick to cell phones. AT&T with Time Warner Verizon with Yahoo and AOL (currently selling those off) AOL with... Time Warner
